Phil Geusz is a furry author, working primarily in the transformation-story sub-genre. He is best known for his work in the Blind Pig storyverse, as well as for his novels Transmutation Now!, Freedom City, Manifest Destiny, Resisting Arrest, Spur, and Corpus Lupus, some of which have been made available in book form. His TBP story "Graduation Day" appeared in the groundbreaking "Best in Show", edited by Fred Patten; he also wrote the introduction to the transformation story section of this collection. He also has numerous other minor publication credits, and has appeared many times on the Ursa Major Reccommended Reading List. His fiction is posted almost exclusively through the Transformation Story Archive Mailing List and its spinoffs, where he has been active since approximately 1996. TSAT Magazine has featured Phil's work many times; he also has been writing a column there for many years on the art of writing. Most recently, he has undertaken a new column at Anthro magazine, this one more generally targeted on things furry.

Phil also founded the annual "TSA-Bash", a sort of minicon for TSA-ers that has been held annually at various locations across the nation since 1998.

Because Phil does not MUCK, he maintains no furry-persona or character-name. However, he attends and enjoys many furry-cons in the American midwest and south, as time and budget allow. He can most often be found at Mephit furmeet, in his home state of Tennessee, which he considers his "home con". He is 44 years old as of this posting, divorced, and an auto worker.
