Hello!

Thought I'd make this entry as accurate as possible. Considering I built the thing in the first place, I ought to be the best source of information on it.

Ta! --Coyote Seven

:Neat! Thanks for the information. :-) --GreenReaper 03:10, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)

----

I think the picture of the WcotP comic version of this thing would be better positioned at the paragraph that describes it rather than at the beginning. As it looks right now, it is confusing.

Or otherwise, I would say to include a caption along the bottom of the picture indicating what depiction that is. I was actually thinking I'd get a picture drawn of the original VVM to put there, oddly enough. I just hadn't gotten around to that.

Addendum: I'll shrink the image when I get back home and move it to align with the Jim Groat paragraph. Later on I'll get a picture of the actual MUCK VVM and have it positioned where the Groat picture is right now.

--Coyote Seven

:Sounds good. I used the image of the comic version because that was the only one available to me. :-) --GreenReaper 14:52, 3 Jan 2006 (UTC)
----

Why didn't you contact me with regards to Conna Stevenson? After a small e-mail discussion very recently, I discover that someone here gave her a hard time for editing the reference to her picture here? One that I put in only because I remembered it and I wanted to show proof that Groat didn't invent this idea as he tried to claim once while chatting to me. Trust me, if I had known at the time that she was trying to distance herself from Furry stuff, I would have completely understood and removed the link myself.

I hate to think I unwittingly caused her grief. :(

Update: Apparently it was just because she didn't provide a reason for removing it. Granted that she should have probably identified herself. But still if she'd talked to me directly I would have removed it myself.

I would like to note, however, that her removal of the link in this article was unlike any of the vandalism attacks. Maybe sending me a note about the change first before changing it back so I could personally investigate the reason why might have been a better idea?

:I'm not sure this really counts as "a hard time". People try to remove information from WikiFur all the time, and if they don't leave a reason then they're going to get called on it. We don't want to cause people grief, but we also don't really want them removing relevant information without knowing who they are or why they're doing it, either.

:If you want that kind of oversight of an article, you should really watch it and set your email preferences so that it emails you when it changes. We get 300 edits a day, we can't manually tell every majority contributor to every article about changes. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 19:11, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Would it be gauche of me to ask that the reference to me my now-gone artwork be removed?

I bear no one any ill will about this, I'd just like to remove traces from places I no longer frequent as it's not relevant any more. Connastev

:Can you point out where this reference is, please? I just took a look through the article and didn't see anything obvious. Thanks. --Douglas Muth 05:11, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

"Besides Groat, the Vixen Vending Machine caught the attention of other furry artists, including Conna Stevenson of Yerf, who drew a small comic about it." I will edit it, and if that's unacceptable let me know. Connastev
:OK this is strange. I need you to look at the page using a different web browser that you normally use. Right now it's showing up correctly for me on FireFox (even though it didn't before I'd logged in, but right now it shows I'm logged out). I've also got it on IE and there it's showing the messed up version that I've been getting for the past couple of days. --Coyote Seven
