Based in Central Pennsylvania, HarrisFurg was proposed to foster local gathering, creative expression, and community engagement for fans of anthropomorphic art, costume design, and digital media.

Organization
Furries BlueTheFloof and TalanTheAvali began with a simple mission: to build an inclusive, community-focused, Pennsylvania furry gathering that unites the local furry fandom while giving back through charitable outreach.

What started as an ambitious vision among local organizers has evolved into a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization named HarrisFurg, Inc, dedicated to fostering creativity, friendship, and philanthropy. The organization hosts seasonal meetups alongside this full, multi-day convention.

History
The first proposed iteration, HarrisFurg 2027, will be a 3-day convention hosted at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with the theme Shiver me Whiskers.
