'''nothingkat.com''' is a website which parodies and comments on the [[furry fandom]] from a jaded insider's point of view. With a little mix of down-to-earth commentary and a little bit of poking fun, the site is a mixed pleasure for those who want an insightful feel as to how the fandom runs.

The website started in 2003 as a small piece-of-mind section of the internet on furry and non-furry related topics. As time went on, it focused mostly ot broad sections of the furry fandom. Later that year, an article about [[FurNation]] prompted the owners of FurNation to have nothingkat.com shut down and even attempted to take the owner to court for slander. A compromise was reached and the article is only archived in various places.

The website was taken down for about a month on October 2005 due to loss of interest but recently brought back. The only major differences would now be the lack of other hosted websites and the forum.

Little has been done to advertise this site and it is usually heard of through word of mouth. A few projects came out using the website as a stepping stone such as the recent "A Day With David" which parodies a day in the life of [[David Hopkins]], creator of the online comic [[Jack]]. [[Nothingkat]] himself has been targeted as being [[antifur]], a [[Burned Furs|Burned Fur]], or any other outright antifurry movement or attitude for having a negative viewpoint of the fandom. Nothingkat admits to not being extremely liberal with his ideas of [[zoophilia]] and [[babyfur]]s and is merely expressing himself in a non-violent manner.

nothingkat.com is just one out of a few antifur websites out there basically exposing the so-called filth within the fandom. While these articles are pretty detailed about the furry fandom, it is not aimed at those who have no prior knowledge to furries. Instead, it is aimed at those who have a great understanding of how the fandom works and better yet, who is who and what is what. nothingkat.com does not try to be a center for knowledge of furries for beginners.
