Xanaphia, aka Jonny D. Narya, born August 31st, 1981, is a furry from Las Vegas, Nevada. His character is a white rabbit.

Xanaphia is an "open" Wiccan and is a member of House. He lives with another furry and a few non-furries who are uncomfortable with the concept. Xanaphia has always felt the link to animals and perfoms several forms of divination, including tarot. He is also a member the All Kindred Society of Las Vegas, where he is known for "terrorizing" others by acting excessively cute. He is not the only animal spirit in the group but is the only non-predator.

Xanaphia is polyamorous and pansexual, believing himself to be a female inside. Living by a strict personal moral code, he does not excessively smoke or drink and is a pacifist. He also is against software and music piracy, but still collects Nintendo ROMs and prefers Gentoo GNU/Linux and other open source software. For personal convenience though, he uses a Windows machine, although he has built an entire amateur music studio around a Macintosh. He leases a business grade server out of pocket so that he can host various community and personal sites. He feels it's his way of giving back to the communities that support him.

He is currently an Unix and Mac OS X server administrator for a large print media enterprise, a job field he has been in since 2001. He has been working on becoming a software developer for some time now. His favorite programming language is Java and his favorite scripting language is perl.
Xanaphia's hobbies include collecting furry art commissions, bowling, composing and producing DarkWave and Industrial music under the alias Bleeding Machine, writing desktop utilities and websites in Java, playing Final Fantasy games and managing and hosting websites.

Furry Timeline
Early years
Xanapia discovered the furry fandom around 1996 when he was in his sophomore year of high school. He was introduced to online comics like Sabrina Online and also furry stories and art by his friend Luxemburg the Skunk. He quickly tried to become a fan, having felt he had found a nitch that felt like him. He began to socialize and interact with others claiming to be a black and gray Cheshire cat, although he had not taken the name Xanaphia, being only known by his current online handle 'Pyro-oryP'.

He became more and more involved in the furry community around 1998 when he found YiffNet and Tapestries. It was also at this time when he chose the name Xanaphia. During his online start, like most first, he ended up spending most of his time in adult based channels. He also learned of a local furry group headed by two furs named Hyper and Burmese. He attended the meeting for a span of about 6 months before the group disbanded due to drama. He remained active personally and online until 2002 when personal issues and a pressing career drove him into hiding.

Rebirth and rejoining the furry community
In 2005 he began to seek out other furries actively online and in person once again after experiencing a 'prophetic dream'. At this time he shed the image of a Cheshire cat and following the dream embraced his lapine side, now portraying himself as often as possible as a white rabbit. He has embraced his "furriness" to the point where he can very often be seen introducing himself as a rabbit, wearing ears & tail and squeaking in social situations where it is not expected or normal/acceptable.

Current Community Involvement
After this reemergence he began frequenting FurNet again where he can still be found in channels #bunnypad, #StRitas-Clinic and #artcommisions. He began commissioning artist and displays digital copies of them on his personal gallery and his Fur Affinity account. On July 27th, 2006 he created Vegas Furs to help bring together as many local furries as possible. Around the same time he also helped start another local social group called the All Kindred Society of Las Vegas. He is not the only animal spirit in the group but is the only non-predator. In December 2006 he met his furry boyfriend Snowie, but remains polyamorous. He also attended Further Confusion 2007 with a group of furs from Sacramento, CA and Reno, NV.
