Kit Karamak, aka Ken Weaver, is a furry writer whose fursona is a red fox. He was born May 1st, 1980 and has lived in Baltimore, Maryland; Washington, DC; Great Lakes, Illinois; Richmond, Virginia and Knoxville, Tennessee at one point or another. He enjoys video games, watching movies, reading and socializing. 'Kit' is short for Kitsune, however, his avatar is a normal one-tailed fox, not a magic endowed kitsune of Inari Lore.

He enjoys listening to and creating music. His instrument of choice is the drums but often plays the bass and guitar for hobby. He's played these various instruments since about 1995, give or take a year. He also likes to tinker with computers in his spare time, whether to upgrade or simply build something new from spare parts. He has an "A+" and "Net+" certification. He often says his computer education certifies him the ability to 'tie his shoes' in the computer world. He is currently single, according to his MySpace profile and LiveJournal.

Ken Weaver also uses the pen name "Kit-Karamak" (spelled with a hyphen), on the websites www.FanFiction.net, www.Fanstory.com, www.AdultFanFiction.com and www.FictionPress.com. He sometimes uses the moniker "KitWriter" as a blogging name for various online forums.

Kit Karamak was an original character he used in some of his less-popular Star Fox stories, which can be found on the FanFiction.Net website. Kit commissioned artist MISTEROO, an anthropomorphic art student from New England to create his avatar.

His curiosity in anthropomorphic things began in 1993 when Star Fox was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Cartoons, from Bucky O'Hare to Sonic the Hedgehog, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield and Heathcliff piqued his interest further into all things furry. His first real connection to the furry fandom came through his writings on FanFiction when several furries took interest in his work. Hiromi Kitsune became his doorway to the furry social community and, before long, he moved from Pasadena, Maryland to Richmond, Virginia to become Hiromi's roommate.

Kit left Richmond in April of 2005 to marry his long-time Internet romance from Knoxville, Tennessee. Unfortunately, the marriage only lasted until September of 2005 and he was forced to return to Maryland, where his family could help him financially. He found an apartment with a bandmate in Rockville, Maryland (just outside of Washington, D.C.) and lived there for one year.

The band began to fall apart and he moved back to his parents' house during the summer of 2006 with his eldest son, Richie. When autumn came, Richie went back to his mother, Sparks Hare for the school year and Kit moved back to Richmond with Hiromi Kitsune. He stayed there until January of 2007 when his job with Budget Car and Truck Rental dried up; the location became a franchise. He struggled with money over the next month before moving out in search of new work.

Kit went back to Pasadena, Maryland with his parents to repair his finances In February of 2007, he and John Settino began working on a furry rock band, currently called A Break In Chaos. However, they are the only two members of the group who are part of the furry community.

Kit remains a huge supporter of furry fiction writing. This includes both original and fan fiction work. He hopes to become recognized for his writing and often seeks advancement in his style and technique. He often applies what he's learned to the critique he offers to fellow writers.

Fan Fiction
Star Fox
Based on reader feedback and the amount of 'views' each story receives (currently over 32,000 for Reflections of the Future, alone), Kit is, arguably, best known for his Star Fox series, entitled Reflections. These include, but are not limited to: Reflections of Krystal, Reflections of the Future, Reflections of a New Generation, Reflections of Marcus McCloud, Reflections of Peppy and Reflections of Fox McCloud. The last three are still in progress. He's also written other Star Fox fan fiction stories and enjoys writing original manuscripts.
Kit began writing Star Fox fan fiction as a teenager around 1994 when he posted a story on the Corneria Mission Base page run by two Star Fox fans, one of whom went by the online moniker of Dr. Foxbert. At the time, Kit's two largest writing inspirations were Julia "VixenDreams" Glassman and Ted Pareotti.
Kit remains very open minded and willing to take criticism about his prose. He enjoys discussing how he can better his style and technique with anyone willing to offer their time, attention and advice for his projects.

A PC video game is in development by a group of Star Fox fans, based loosely on his interpretation of Krystal and her alter-ego, Kursed, from the story, "Reflections of a New Generation." The unfinished game is called, "Project Kursed" by its creators. There is no set release date for this shareware title as of yet.

Sly Cooper
Kit also writes fan fictions about Sly Cooper, another video game featuring an anthropomorphic character. He has three novel-length fan fictions: The Lament of Carmelita (finished in 2006), Spy Cooper (currently in progress), and Dawn of Progeny (newest, started in late 2008, currently in progress). He has also written several short stories in the Sly Cooper fandom, usually with a holiday theme such as Valentine's Day or Christmas.

Others
He has a Castlevania story involving a werewolf, titled The Claws of Fate.

Kit has three sons. Richie, his oldest, was born in December of 1999. Thomas was born in September of 2003 and his youngest, Tyler, was born in December of 2005.

He's converted his oldest son's mother to furry; she has assumed the alter ego of a rabbit and she is now married to a mephit named Darke (pronounced 'Dark', simply because of his black fur coloration and a past phase interest in all things gothic). Kit also introduced his ex-mate to furry, a mouse named Kara Tweak. She ended their relationship for personal reasons (none of which involved Furry) the first week of August 2007. He's currently growing close to a woman who lives in his area, named Dawn. He met her while working at Office Depot.

Recent Day Job Activity
In July of 2007, he left Blockbuster Video as a manager, working on the nights and weekends. He began a second job as a Loan Officer with an ex-roommate and fellow Maryland musician at the end of June. Because of the American mortgage industry implosion, he was laid off on September 18th and became a Department Manager over the technology section in a local Office Depot. In September of 2008, he parted ways with Office Depot. In January of 2009, Kit accepted a job as the Assistant Manager of the IT department for the Computer Career Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He helps to maintain the network, repairs computers on site and trains techs seeking their internship.

Music
Kit has played the drums since about 1995 and has performed in multiple local Maryland bands since around the summer of 2000. These bands include, but are not limited to:
* Join The Conspiracy (JTC)
* Quits for Now (QFN)
* A Blackberry Crush (BBC)
* A Bullet Away (ABA)
* Minus Q (-Q)
* The Paperback Heroes / Surrendering Dorothy (PBH)
* Tomorrow I'll Try To Yield (TITTY)
* A Break In Chaos (ABC) ((CURRENT))
* Northbound 95 (NB-95) ((Current))

Kit has opted to remain in Maryland for now; he plays with two music groups, listed above. However, he's also said he's willing to go wherever music and/or writing takes him.
In early 2008, there was talk and/or speculation of moving to Oklahoma to join the furry group, "Sub Level 03" and, for the time being, remains friends with the band, should his life in Maryland change in a way that would make such a long move to his benefit.

According to his profiles on FanFiction.net, self posts and blogs from his MySpace website, his LiveJournal and even his deviantART page, Kit claims he is nonjudgmental and open minded in opinion regarding discussion on all types of religion, political views, sexuality and other points of relative controversy. He sees himself as openly accepting of others, even if he doesn't agree with them. He states that he refuses to judge people based on any of these issues. Kit has stated that he has his own opinions on many different aspects of life but keeps these views to himself unless asked otherwise.

Kit is strongly against racism. He tries to be somewhat diplomatic by nature. He believes in working things out and offers friendship to anyone willing to converse with him. He has stated this repeatedly in his author's notes and on forum boards throughout the Internet.

He tends to avoid confrontation or physical altercations when possible. Unlike many furries, Kit is a member of the Republican Party. He's also Christian.

The Cyantian Chronicles was created by Tiffany Ross of Shivae Comics in 2001. Rather than just being one comic, it is a collection of comic series which are all related to each other. They all use the same world, and follow a timeline. In fact, each comic takes place in a set span of time, although they are not arranged according to chronological order on the site except in the about pages. This comic set is generally known as either The Cyantian Chronicles or as Akaelae. Sections of the comic include The Cyantian Chronicles, Exotica Genoworks, Sink or Swim, Campus Safari, and Shivae!.

The following is content quoted directly from the comic's about page:

Akaelae consists of three parts at the moment. The first section is a story entitled: Satin and Silke Prequel. This was originally written and drawn to provide a background story for two characters, Chatin and Cilke and also to introduce Syrys Akaelae, Collin and Quinn. Chatin and Cilke were originally created as consumer goods by Exotica Genoworks. Collin and Quinn are genetically designed Siracs, a name given to psychically gifted racoon species which were singled out to experiment with mental abilities. They were left behind to watch a cryogenically frozen wolf,... an enemy of the fox people, which was also intended to destroy the facility they were in, offering cover to the administration of EG, to remove themselves from the Fox government's hold on them to create more and more violent creations.

[...]

Akaelae is the actual 'origin' story and prequel to Campus Safari, the first comic I did online. It follows the life of several young wolves and foxes... and many other species as they deal with a world that is suddenly changing from what it has been for as long as they've been alive. New evils have arrived and old ones are returning with a plot to destroy the guardian family of the Cyantian Wolves... the Akaelaes.

The Cyantian Chronicles is a slew of comics written by Tiffany Ross. They center around a civilization of fictional anthropomorphic animals, called Cyantians. It mainly focuses on the wolves, foxes, and cats (called mounties in the comic) that were created by an alien race that has disappeared. The stories also include genetically engineered skunks that were created by the foxes. Later, in Campus Safari and onward, there have been some humans in the story.

The comic is available online as well as a comic book that can be bought at the Shivae store.

Species
the Cyantian Chronicles involves several different species, most of which could be considered furies. These can be divided up into several categories; exotica geneworks creations, Rumuah creations and native Cyantians as well as a number of other non-Cyantians.

Comics
The following comics are currently at the main web site. However, the Cyantian universe is diverse and has many stories that are not on the website. Also, all of the stories are "Graphic Novels in Progress".
Gralen Cragg Hall
This story tells what happened in the fox lands when the government was overthrown and a genocide of foxes with black, silver, or white fur.

Genoworks Saga
Will tell of the events surrounding Exotica Genoworks. This includes the kangaroos from Sink or Swim; the Genoworks skunks Cilke, Chatin, and Cisco; and other Genoworks-related characters.

Satin and Silk
Being replaced by Genoworks Saga, it told of what happened to the Genoworks skunks.

Puppet Strings
A fairly short arc that involved the return of a Genoworks skunk and an introduction of another psychic raccoon who has ulterior motives.

from the website:

The second section is Puppet Strings. This was another story featuring the same characters... and their encounter with a lost brother and another Sirac. This story takes place just prior to Akaelae.

Akaelae
This comic shows when the Genoworks skunks and the young elite wolves go to school. They have entered their teens and are going to general education. In this arc, Darius find Darrik, Chatin searches for secrets, and Rama is up to his old tricks again.

Among all of the comics, this is the only one that has all of it's pages in color.

Campus Safari
The first comic to come out, it involves Chatin and some of her friends' brief stay on Earth when her sister plays with a personal transporter. After getting rescued, they end up going to an academy located on Mars.

The following stories take place at the same time as Campus Safari:
Sink or Swim
This Comic deals with genetically-engineered kangaroos and their way of life. They were abused by the foxes and when one of them snapped, she severely damaged Exotica Genoworks, allowing many of the tortured military subjects to escape.

No Angel
This story involves Jules who wants to return to earth. When she walks into a portal that transports her home, she learns that it would have been wiser to listen to Darius.

The more recent strips are in their own continuity.

Cesilee's Diary
Cesilee's Diary mainly deals with Cesilee, an Ocelot/Puma hybrid that has fallen in love with Marcus. However, he doesn't exactly feel the same way about her.

Main Characters
Chatin
;Species:Skunk
Created at Exotica Genoworks as "art," she was left behind when the facility was mainly destroyed. She seems a bit clumsy in her early years, but makes it up with her intelligence.

Darius
;Species:Wolf
Darius is a short, white wolf. In Akeklae, he is arrogant and a bit of a know-it-all. However, he is considerate and doesn't .
In Campus Safari, he is the headmaster of the College on Mars.

Quinn
;Species:Raccoon
Quinn is a childish individual. like all Siracs, or psychic raccoons, she has psychic abilities. She has the ability, and the habit, of teleporting. She has a very happy demeanor and is rarely depressed. Of the two main Siracs (the other being her brother Collin), she is the one who works with expanding her abilities.

Rama
;Species:Wolf-Mountie(Cat) hybrid.
The main antagonist in the stories. He seems to hold a big grudge against the wolves, and even got the foxes to fight for him. He was momentarily exiled on earth, but as of Akaklae, has returned.
Secondary Characters
* Marcus: A furry fanatic, was pleasantly surprised when Chatin and Cilke 'arrived' at a furry convention. He asked Cilke to marry him while throwing himself on her tail. He received a black eye for doing that. He is happy to be on Mars and fits in fine, for the most part.

* Jules: An Anime fan, she was more or less forced to go to the Mars Academy due to the fact that the AMIB was coming after her and Marcus. She was reluctant to believe it and wanted to return home. However, when she gets back to earth, she is captured by the AMIB and "persuaded" to be a spy on Mars.

* Cilke: Chatin's "sister." She is white with red markings and smells of strawberries. In Campus Safari, she is shown being a proficient pilot and soldier, having her own powered combat suit known as a "lift".

* Sheana:

* Twinky: Named after the treat with the same name, he is a were-skunk, a human that can change into a normal earth skunk or an anthropomorphic skunk. He is first seen in Campus Safari as a normal skunk that escaped a maze and was eating Twinkies. He is quickly released back "into the wild," but becomes a frequent visitor. Soon after, he writes a little note and waits on Jules and Marcus's front door. Chatin takes a liking to him and he becomes her "pet." He isn't revealed until after he protects Chatin from an assailant.

* Darrik: In Akaelae, he is a black fox that was raised in Jamaica and somehow ended up on Cyantia. Like all black fox, he has the ability to manipulate matter, but his parents hid this knowledge from him. By Campus Safari, he is married and during this time, his wife gives birth. During Akaelae, he has his fur dyed to disguise him as a gold fox and thus protect him from hostile fox agents while living with the Akaelaes.

* Collin: Quinn's "brother."

* Stephen and Sean:
