Transformation U. (or TFU) is a currently defunct comic which followed the adventures of a young woman and the lives of her friends as they begin college. The twist is that through an as-of-yet unexplained magic they have been transformed into various animals during their college stay.

Transformation U. all started based on the idea that college transforms a person. The college campus itself is a parody of the University of Arizona campus, based loosely on its grounds. A lot of the inspiration for the comic is also, apparently, exagerations of real life experiences as well.

The comic deals with common college student issues including roommates, administration, distraction and being poor. The comic also refers quite often to anime, classic literature, and such musical artists as James Taylor. It also has homages to several other webcomics, including Roomies, The Changing Workplace, and Room for One More.

The artist, E. Michelle Logan, more commonly known as Fiona Ferret, often did collaborations with Jarrardi, the artist of the webcomic Study Abroad, and even drew a large part of a storyline for his comic strip.

Transformation U. used to appear on the Pandora Comics Syndicate; as that website went down, TFU is no longer is there. The TFU archive is currently being housed at Saidsimple at this location. There are rumors of plans to continue the comic.

House of Lost Dreams

House of Lost Dreams is a multi-panel concept comic exploring the idea that dreams don't just fade when forgotten but rather are mass that cannot be erased or simply displaced. Dreams and nightmares are drawn to the house for currently unknown reasons. The house is kept by a dachshund named Adelaide Le Reaux with the help of an illegal coyote worker named Carlos Garcia.

The comic appears to be set someone where in the southeastern United States but no specifc state or address has been given. The House itself appears in the middle of a forest and/or swamp that seems to have a mystical air about it. How people actually find the House is unknown, but people come to the House to claim a dream of their own and hopefully prosper. However, all too often people claim a nightmare.

Although still in its fledgling days, the comic has the potential to touch on very serious issues due to its air of unreality.

House of Lost Dreams was created by Ellie Dachshi and is part of Moonbase comics.

The category of Comics includes webcomics, newspaper comics, printed comics, comic books, and graphic novels, because the lines between these categories can easily blur. You may enter comics here that are not explicitly furry, or intended for a furry audience - they just have to be of interest to furries, perhaps by including anthropomorphic characters.

If you can think of a comic that deserves writing about, add it in here, and maybe someone will. Don't let that stop you writing about a comic, including your own!
