In April 1st, 2007, the FA header and Fender account avatar featured a [[female]] [[anthro]] [[dragon]] that resembled Fender in terms of color pattern, markings, and clothing. This was widely believed to be an [[wikipedia:April_Fools|April Fool's]] joke,{{fact}} and soon disappeared from the FA header after about one week. <br />

The header was used as a placeholder for the newly released dark theme until May, when FA announced that there would be two mascots, and that the new dragon character would be named Rednef.{{fact}}<br />
