David Parenteau is a notorious fur-fan who files fake copyright and DCMA claims against websites. Most recently, he has done so numerous times against the site WTFUX, when it was proven to be false and borderline harassment on Mr Parenteau's part, the domain registrar of WTFUX cleared the owners of wrong-doing.

We would like to inform you of the complaint of copyright infringement in
reference to your domain: wtfux.org.

COMPLAINT MESSAGE:

This is in response to a phone conversation two days ago. I apologize for
the time it took to get this message sent, as I have been very busy
myself. Due to prior issues (As brought up in this message), please keep
this communication confidential from the offending party.

WTFux.org is a domain registered with your service as the registrar. The
site is an image-board site primarily, catering to a group of folks that
have been banned from various other image-board sites for redistributing
copyrighted work, often to the detriment of the copyright holder's income.

On their prior hosting service, DCMA takedowns were being issued multiple
times per day most of the time, and the site would take it down and get it
reposted by another user later. The site owners and administration were
well aware that since their users were posting it, as long as they honored
the DCMA notice in a reasonable time, they could continue to pirate the
material without any liability.

I posted a message on behalf of the copyright holders to the hosting
provider and pointed out that the actions as a whole were well outside the
AUP for the hosting provider, and that it was within their rights to shut
down the offending site. They did so within two hours. However the site
was simply moved to a new hosting provider, and claimed that return of the
most controversial content is waiting on an overseas server to ensure that
they can break the law with impunity.

Unfortunately, the hosting provider also forwarded my message to the
owners, and this information was reposted on the site thereafter. The site
actively incited action against me personally, and after having my phone
rendered useless by constant calls from spoofed caller ID's, various
threats up to and including death threats, and other annoyances, I was
finally forced to change my phone number at substantial personal
cost. Unfortunately, due to blocked caller ID's as well as spoofed caller
ID's, I have no recourse through law enforcement.

Besides federal felony copyright infringement against my associates with
stated intent to continue and move their server outside the jurisdiction of
the US, they are also directly contributing to federal felony copyright
infringement against the RIAA (See: http://wtfux.org/riaa/wakaba.html ) by
distributing torrent information for illegal downloads. As well, they are
in violation of Title 18 Section 2257 record keeping requirements for the
photographic human porn they distribute (

). They distibute materials that Homeland Security might be somewhat upset

contain sexual or graphic depictions of minors (Child Porn). Needless to
say, I cannot legally and will not attempt to investigate this final
accusation myself, as the simply act of viewing the material online has a
potential for putting one into possession of it via their cache, and this
is illegal.

Due to the fact that they have moved servers several times by simply
redirecting their DNS entries in the domain registration, and have at this
point stated direct intent to move their operations outside of US
jurisdiction to avoid direct legal challenges, it has gotten to the point
where the only sure way to stop their activities and get some peace is to
remove the capability for them to point the domain name to a given
location. As you are their registrar, you are the only ones who can assist
with this goal at this point.

The disabling of this domain name is fully within your Terms and Conditions
Agreement ( http://www.registerfly.com/info/terms.php ), per Paragraph 14,
esp. sub-item (c). My goal is to bring to your attention the breach of
this specific item, point out that you can take action, point out the
reasons for doing so, and request and strongly encourage that action be
taken per your Terms. My secondary goal is to take as much action as
possible via friendly communications with companies such as yourself that
are able and may be willing to assist in what ways they can do so legally
without being legally forced to, as such legal action tends to be much more
costly for the company than assisting when it is possible for them to do
