Halfshell or Halfshell Hero, who also uses the name Sabaka and/or Sabaka'Zlo, started in the furry fandom in late 2003. Before becoming a furry, he was introduced to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom in message boards such as The Techonodrome and Mikey's TMNT, using the current Halfshell. And while surfing the net for TMNT, Digimon, Pokémon, etc. stumbled the artwork of Fraggle (Phraggle), Captain Furry, and Byakko Wolf, but these pics were different than any other artwork seen before. The artwork was known as inflation or fat furry art. After surfing many sites with this type of art such as The InflationNation, The Roundhouse, Macropod, and Stonegate and Dragonite's Transformation site, it was on the The InflationNation site where Halfshell submitted his first inflation art of Yoshi, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Scorchio of Neopets.

After posting the art, Halfshell got his first request from a fur named Jaimetud the Otter. After befriending Jaimetud, Halfshell was introduced to the fandom of furries, especially in the Inflation furs. That's where he met Blue, Captain Furry, Smiler Frog, Dobie the Growlithe and Byakko Wolf (who will be later known as Jheryn Lightfoot), then Alkora Dragon or Husky. After meeting these furs online, Halfshell got more involved in the community.

2004 Highlights -- Blue's Christmas
Later into 2004, Jaimetud and Halfshell with the IM and Technology would record, Blue's Christmas, a parody of Elvis Presley's Blue Christmas. This was recorded as a Christmas gift to InflationNation. Although the song wasn't much as a hit, but would probably become like a theme song for The InflationNation.

2005
On into 2005, and months of more drawing and new friends, Halfshell and Jaimetud departed and went their own ways, and later met up with SirKain. After befriending SirKain, Halfshell took a trip to head the head honcho of the InflationNation, and this would be Halfshell's first time meeting another furry in-the-fur so to speak. After a few trips to SirKain's, was invited to go to 2005. Attending the con, and being his first one to go to, Halfshell was overjoyed with amount of furries there are in the community. Later in the year, Halfshell had the chance to go move in with SirKain, but ending up loosing his job and not being able to afford to move eastward. Halfshell and SirKain's friendship decreased shortly after. In an attempt to find local furs in his neighborhood, Halfshell found Draconya. Halfshell finds Red Foxx, but after meeting for the first time to catch a movie, the friendship ended soon after. Halfshell continues to visit Draconya on a regular bases and help her in adaptation her art.

Midyear
After visiting other local furs around him, Halfshell goes and records his second song, Leavin' The Con a parody of Fool reflecting his Post Con Depression from Anthrocon from earlier that year. The song has never been available for public listening. In Mid 2006, Draconya introduces Halfshell to Northpaw and maintained as friends, Draconya has also introduced Molly Margay who designed Halfshell current fursuit of Sabaka, After much debate and dispute, Molly and Halfshell's friendship ended.

While Keeping a Job
Into 2005, Halfshell picked up and tried to keep his job, and was looking up into the site, FurNation and stumbled across the music of SonicBlu. Purchasing SonicBlu's first two albums, Fur Folk and Fun and Sprout Your Fur, the song Making A Fursuit was Halfshell first Furry parody he heard, and fell in love with SonicBlu's style of music. In attempt to contact SonicBlu, Halfshell sends an email asking if SonicBlu if he needed any help with additional help in extra voices, and sent in "Leavin' The Con".

2006
Rolling into 2006, Halfshell continued visiting Draconya and was introduced to Northpaw a local fursuiter, and met up with him at Draconya's. Later the three of them would continue to meet up on weekends. After hearing back from SonicBlu, and finding out he host a nightly radio show on the net, The Time Machine show on PlanetFurry radio, Halfshell finally got SonicBlu on an AIM chat session and after a major Role Playing chat, Halfshell would become SonicBlu's current mate. Knowing of SonicBlu's talents, Halfshell tried taking a parody style of his own. Coming up with simple tunes like Caught In A map a parody of Suspicious Minds co written by Draconya. Also remade a simple tune of Won't Chow Down a parody of Won't Back Down by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Taking these songs, they were first introduced on SonicBlu's Time Machine Show, after hearing them on the air, Halfshell strike of an idea about music videos. Using the current written and new recorded songs, he makes three music videos.

More Meetings
Also have met Butterscotch, Babs Bunny, Kinky Turtle, and mate SonicBlu, from various cons and meets,
in attempt to previously to make it to Cons after AC 2005, Halfshell finally gets the chance top partakes the Furfest, catching a ride with Northpaw. At MFF Halfshell gets to meet DragoMike, Verace, Giran, While spending most time in fursuit, Halfshell also spends most time with his mate SonicBlu. After leaving MFF Northpaw and Halfshell visits the local fur near where the con was being held, Nikon Racoon.

More Music
Now back at home, Halfshell continues to visit Draconya and writing down parodies and recording, in hoping to release his first album soon.

The artwork was known as inflation or fat furry art. After surfing many sites with this type of art such as The InflationNation, The Roundhouse, Macropod, and Stonegate and Dragonite's Transformation site. It was on the The InflationNation site where Halfshell submitted his first inflation art of Yoshi, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Scorchio of Neopets.

After posting the art, Halfshell got his first request from a fur named Jaimetud the Otter. After befriending Jaimetud, Halfshell was introduced to the fandom of furries, especially in the Inflation furs. That's where he met Blue, Captain Furry, Smiler Frog, Dobie, and Byakko Wolf which will be later known as Jheryn Lightfoot, then Alkora Dragon or Husky. Halfshell or Halfshell Hero

Also uses the name Sabaka and/or Sabaka'Zlo
<blockquote>Halfshell started the furry fandom in late 2003, but before becoming a furry, he was intorduced to the TMNT or Ninja Turtle fandom in message boards such as The Techonodrome and Mikey's TMNT, using the current Halfshell. And while surfing the net for TMNT, Digimon, Pokemon, etc. stumbled the artwork of Fraggle (Phraggle), Captain Furry, and Byakko Wolf, but these pics were different than any other artwork seen before. The artwaork was known as inflation or fat furry art. After surfing many sites with this type of art such as The InflationNation, The Roundhouse, Macropod, and Stonegate and Dragonite's Transfermation site. It was on the The InflationNation site where Halfshell submitted his first inflation art of Yoshi, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Scorchio of Neopets.

After posting the art, Halfshell got his first request from a fur named Jaimetud the Otter. After befriending Jaimetud, Halfshell was introduced to the fandom of furries, espically in the Inflation furs. That's where he met Blue, Captain Furry, Smiler Frog, Dobie, and Byakko Wolf which will be later known as Jheryn Lightfoot, then Alkora Dragon or Husky. After meeting these furs online, the more Halfshell got involved in the community.

Later into 2004, Jaimetud and Halfshell with the IM and Technology would record, Blue's Christmas, a parody of Elvis Presley's Blue Christmas. This was recoreded as a Christmas gift to the InflationNation. Although the song wasn't much as a hit, but would probably become like a theme song for The InflationNation.
