YiffChat is a rather popular web-based furry chat hosted by Yiffstar. Unlike many other chats or MUCKs, YiffChat is aimed at yiffing and sexual role-play. Explicit actions in the lobby are the norm, not the exception.

The chat allows profiles with pictures, and is popular with "newcomers" because usage is much easier than that of a MUCK.

The site Runs by rules that are enforced by a group of moderators, and rooms such as the Lobby, Twilight Den, Evergreen Forest, and Beirce Castle are all used by the sites users for get togethers, and Public chat yiffs. The site recently Made the use of Private rooms created by the user for Private chats and Yiffs.

Recently Users have begin to wonder if the site's Moderators are being Unfair, Banning furs without really listening to there appeals, or getting both side of the stories. User's wonder if the site's creator Toumal will listen to his fellow fur's plea's and cries for a moderator change. Yiffchat was shut down for a while, rumors have it due from a user called Jaguarmaster. Many wonder how many more complaints before YiffChat gets shut down once and for all.
