Cassidy Civet, full Cassidy The Civet (born September 17, 1998), is a Canadian-Italian musician, fursuiter, YouTuber, writer and politician who lives in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.

Fandom involvement
Cassidy Civet found the furry community around 2012. She had long been interested in anthropomorphic cartoons and media, and it was through her short-lived obsession with Sonic the Hedgehog that she found the fandom.

Cassidy was the winner of the Good Furry Award for 2021 presented by Grubbs Grizzly. She later also appeared on season 2 of Canada's Got Talent. She writes reviews and commentary for Flayrah.

Music
Cassidy is a musician who frequently publishes songs in a variety of genres, most specifically songs in her favorite genres of Pop Music, EDM and Adult Contemporary. As a piano player and vocalist, she arranges and composes her own music. She released her debut album on February 29, 2020, with her sophomore effort "Cruel Oasis" releasing 3 years later on August 4th, 2023.

A Eurofan since 2014, Cassidy has routinely submitted to the Eurovision Song Contest. Submitting annually since 2015, for a rotating series of countries including Norway, San Marino, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Macedonia, Ireland, Malta and Moldova. She continues to write and submit new music for the contest, working with foreign musicians as well. On May 12, 2020, she became the first ever fursuiter to be featured in the Eurovision Song Contest, being shown in the first and second ever fan recap for the Semi-Finals since the event had been canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also auditioned for San Marino, ultimately the audition was not successful. She returned to UVPSM in 2023, and once again did not make it through the auditions round.

Klace approached Cassidy Civet to write the furry Pop album to accompany the release of his third game Komorebi. The first promotional single "Stay The Night" was released on May 12, 2023, on Spotify, and was the first time Cassidy had worked as a songwriter for a song she did not sing or record herself. The album consisted of 8 original songs. and was released on July 21. However, in early March 2024, game developer Klace severed ties with Civet and removed said album from all music streaming services. Though Cassidy later said in a video she intends to rerecord the project herself.<ref>Cassidy’s Klace Video on Youtube. Shortly after the reveal of the 2023 Ursa Major Award nominations, in which Cassidy scored 3 of the 5 nominations in the Best Anthropormorphic Music Category (2 as a primary artist, one as a songwriter), the awards received a barrage of online harassment culminating in the removal of the music award from it's 2023 ceremony.
