Megaplex 6 is a furry convention that was held from March 2 to 4, 2007 at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk in Jacksonville, Florida. The primary reason for the move to Jacksonville was cost - hotels in Orlando and Tampa wanted two to three times what Megaplex had paid for space in the past, whereas the Wyndham's offer was more in line with previous costs.<br />
<br />
185 furs attended the sixth Megaplex which featured a game show theme. The low ammount of furs compared to last year was attributed to the very close date and location to Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007.<br />
<br />
==Guests of Honor==<br />
* The guest of honor for 2007 was animator and comic artist Mike Kazaleh.<br />

Anthrocon 2012 is the 16th annual Anthrocon furry convention. It was held on the weekend of June 14th to 17th, 2012, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.<br />
<br />
Originally scheduled for June 21st to 24th, 2012, the convention received a request from the city of Pittsburgh to move their dates one week earlier so the city could realize a "very rare opportunity to host an event that they have been wanting to host for many years", in compensation for additional hotel rooms. It was officially announced in October that the NHL Entry Draft would be hosted in Pittsburgh, on Anthrocon's original dates.<br />
<br />
Anthrocon will break ConFurence's longevity record in 2012, becoming the longest running furry convention in North America, and the 2nd longest running in the world after Eurofurence.<br />
<br />
* Theme: "A Midsummer Night’s Dream"<br />
<br />
Total attendance was 5179 with 1044 fursuiters in the fursuit parade.<br />
