MFM protest
A "confirm" on the protest via two close friends. What affiliation or purpose was unknown by said witnesses. An URL or any means of reference would be appreciated. Until then, an "Unrefered" tag will be added Spirou 04:45, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Recent vandalism from User:Jhegalk
FYI, a Google search turned up this and this. It suggests that User:Jhegalk is the "(removed for legal reasons)"/"Xalc" mentioned in the article. --Douglas Muth 18:59, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Recent attempts to remove (removed for legal reasons) name
Someone, possibly the individual named as "(removed for legal reasons)", has made 3 separate attempts to remove that name from the article in the last few hours, each from a different IP: . Just documenting this here, in case it continues. --Douglas Muth 16:26, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

:Trying again today, it seems:

Possible legal threat from Canis Claxis
See the whole thing in my LiveJournal: . I am unclear if it is from him or not, since the person does not clearly identify themselves or reference any specific edits or article. Given the recent events leading up to the protection of this article and its talk page, and the same /16 in the IP addresses as was in the email, I suspect it is the same person, though. --Douglas Muth 17:46, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

:You moved to France?. Lucky sod. I would give anything to be having some couscous on Marseille's Vieux Port right now, mon pote =) Spirou 18:54, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Mephit Fur Meet
Mephit Fur Meet X, also known as MFMX or Mephit Furmeet 10, was held from September 1 to 3, 2006, at the Holiday Inn Select at Memphis International Airport in Memphis, Tennessee. It was the tenth annual Mephit Fur Meet.

Not counting the convention staff, 630 furs attended, which required the delivery of over 200 pizzas. In addition to attending membership registration, there were Sponsor, SuperSponsor, and Decade Level Sponsorships. The Decade Level perks included the SuperSponsor privileges and a jacket with artwork by Ursula Husted.

$12,121.02 was raised for Tiger Haven, the convention charity.

Guest of Honor
The guest of honor for 2006 was Jodi "J3T" Tong, a furry artist who had won the T-shirt front design contest for MFM 7 and MFM 8.

Annual T-shirt design contest
Evol was the winner of the popular vote for the T-shirt front design.

The winner of the T-shirt back design, selected by convention director Tyger Cowboy, was Bauske.

The winner of the staff T-shirt design was J3T.

Controversy
*(removed for legal reasons) (also known as "Canis Claxis", "Lhurtwolf", "Xlac" and "Furries_Ha!") was reportedly banned from future Mephit Furmeets after accosting female furry artist Megan Giles on the hotel's parking lot. The incident was considered serious enough to contact convention security and file a report with the local police. (removed for legal reasons) could not be located afterwards, and no arrest was made.

*A group of church protesters began a small rally against MFM on sunday afternoon in front of the hotel during the Furry Masquerade. They were quickly chased off by the Memphis police.fact
