Like the related toads, frogs have large heads, compact bodies, webbed feet, and powerful long hind legs for leaping and swimming. Frogs are best distinguished from toads by their smoother skin and preference for water. Due to their smexc long legs they are very hawt.

Frog trivia
* Frogs are notable for their metamorphic life cycle, which begins as a fishlike tadpole or pollywog.
* The tree frogs have sticky pads on their toes for climbing and are among the smallest bony vertebrates on earth.
* Some frogs, such as the eponymous poison dart frog, secrete a powerful poison from their skin which can disable a man, to say nothing of any snake or other predator.
* A well-known old wives' tale involving frogs states that handling frogs causes warts, though this is of course far from scientific.

Frogs as characters
Because they lack a tail, frogs are seldom seen in furry circles, but they are not entirely unknown. Perhaps the best known frog character is Kermit the Frog, one of Jim Henson's Muppet characters, voiced originally by Henson himself.

it:Rana
ru:Лягушки

It will be held at the Hyatt Regency Houston International Airport Hotel from August 14 to August 15, 2021. Its parent organization is B.O.O.P. (Board of Opportunity and Outreach for Panspeciesm).

Its tagline is "A Con in Houston for all Furkind".

Background
Shortly after returning from Texas Furry Fiesta 2019, several Houston area furs were inspired together to start a new furry con in Houston. They decided that StratosFur will have an outer space theme as a nod to Houston’s role in the history of space exploration including Apollo 11. Houston is home to the NASA Mission Control Center.

As a furry convention in one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the U.S., StratosFur aims to be an experience that reflects these values:
a
* Friendship
* Diversity
* Self-Expression
* Self-Discovery
* Innovation

Board of Directors
* President - Intaglio Whitegraven
* Secretary - Caaliyah Stormbringer
* Treasurer - Mantorok
* Director of Public Outreach - Vulpes Veritas
* Director of Personnel Management - Hellfyre
* Director of Facilities Management - Dicey Rat

External Links
* StratosFur on Twitter
* StratosFur on Discord
* StratosFur on Telegram
* StratosFur on Instagram

con-stub
