Joshua Quagmire, nee Richard Lester (1952-2023) was a greymuzzle furry artist, best known for his superpowered character Cutey Bunny. Alternatively known as QT Bunny, he self-published a number of comics starring her with various supporting characters, dating back to the early 1980's. Cutey Bunny also appeared in several early issues of Huzzah, as well as Critters (including issue #1).

Quagmire, who lived in West Los Angeles, maintained a Cutey Bunny website, but otherwise kept a low profile from the 90s onwards.

From 2012, Josh did an online strip called Bunz & Katz, following the humorous adventures of a couple of alien "invaders" on planet Earth. Josh continued this strip until just before his death in May 2023, which was announced by Taral Wayne among others.

Controversy
Many old-timers in the furry fandom are aware of Joshua's insistence that some artists infringed on his copyright and trademark property. In particular, he maintained that cartoonist Jeff Wood stole his Cutey Bunny character to create SnowBuni. Wood denies the charges, citing ancestry in anime fandom, and a substantial publishing history behind his own character. The matter has never been litigated.
