'''Furry Retreat''' is an anual camp-out event held at [http://www.knightsrest.org/ Knight's Rest Retreat], in Bristow Oklahoma. It was first held October 23-25 2015. It was created by several former [[Oklacon]] volunteers and attendees, in response to said convention's cancellation. Organized in less than a month, it had an attendance of approximately 50.[1]

Furry Retreat is currently an event, rather than a convention. There are no accommodations, apart from space to set up a tent, nor any scheduled events or panels. As per it's event status, there are no official staff members, simply Counselors/Event Organizers. While certain organizers are keen on the idea of Furry Retreat becoming a convention, and consider it inevitable, a lack of funds makes this, at best, a long-term goal. All of the first year's revenue went towards the event's charity.

There are no event spaces at Kinght's rest, nor is there any electricity available. As such, any events are frequently spur of the moment affairs such as "let's go fishing" and "the gaming tent." Despite this, a 45 minute rave was held, thanks to a solar panel and battery, and some lighting was provided by a gas generator.
