Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) is a point and click survival horror video game developed by Scott Cawthon in 2014.

Premise
In Five Night at Freddy's, you play as the night guard working a midnight to a 6 A.M. graveyard shift. During your shift, its your job to watch the restaurant until it opens the next morning at 6 A.M. Throughout the night the animatronics, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the Pirate Fox are in a "free roam", and are able to walk around to keep their robot "endoskeletons" from locking up. Something starts going eccentric as if the animatronics have a mind of their own, and you only have limited power and functions to survive.

Sequels and adaptations
Five sequels and two spin-offs for the game have been released:
*Five Nights at Freddy's 2
*Five Nights at Freddy's 3
*Five Nights at Freddy's 4
*Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location (aka FNAF 5)
*Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (aka FNAF 6)
In the credits of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, Scott hinted that this would be the last installment in the series, but he lied and created several more games and spin offs.

Upcoming
Notes and sources
WikiFur data
The February 2011 count uses WikiFur's species categorisation system to find which species are most popular amongst people who have WikiFur articles, under the assumption that it is a representative cross-section of the furry fandom at large. They are cross-referenced with the people category so that non-fursona characters are filtered out.

This study counts hybrid characters and groups similar species and sub-species together to get a more accurate number (e.g. species in the husky category are counted within the dog category instead as a standalone group).

The November 2007 count was conducted differently and is derived from the list of most linked to categories according to which character categories contain the most articles. It does not take into account hybrids and does not group related species (e.g. snowshoe hares are counted as a different species than hares, they are not grouped together).

Furry Research Center data
Data provided by the Furry Research Center was sampled from the first 5000 respondents to the 2008 version of the Furry Survey. Of those, 3785 provided an answer for the question "If you identify with a particular animal, which one is it?"

Some species were split into subcategories. Dogs, for example, could be selected by particular breed; this division leading to an under-representation of dogs in general in the results.

The published results are available on the Furry Research Center website.

Pounced.org data
This information is derived from Pounced.org's statistics page before it was removed (archive). Pounced.org uses a set species list which users choose from, thus the presence of "Other" on the results.
