The Class Menagerie is a furry webcomic written and illustrated by Vince Suzukawa. The series ran for four years on Keenspot and ended in 2002, though the website continues to run reruns as classic TCM. The story is a college life comedy with a developed background story. Most installments are in a traditional comic style, but deeper and more serious story arcs unfold towards the end, which make TCM a drama as well as a comedy.

TCM takes place on the third floor of Richter Hall in Redwood Dorm at fictional DeMontfort University in California. It centers around the lives of nine university students who live in the rooms of this floor.

The furry fandom is the comic's primary audience. TCM and its characters continue to be popular, years after the series finished.

The name is a play on The Glass Menagerie, a play by Tennessee Williams.

Locations
DeMontfort University
DeMontfort University is a fictional university set in California, and the setting of The Class Menagerie and i.s.o. The fictional characters in both stories are enrolled at the university and live in its dormitories.

Characters from The Suburban Jungle have also been depicted as attending DeMontfort University.

The central location of the stories on campus is Richter Hall, a building at the university's Redwood Dorm where most of the main characters live.

There is a real De Montfort University in the United Kingdom.

Richter Hall
Richter Hall is a building at Redwood Dorm on campus. The building was sarcastically named by the author in reference to the Richter magnitude scale.
spoiler
Originally a five-story building, the top two floors and much of the third floor of Richter Hall were destroyed in an accident years earlier, explained as the result of an earthquake. The remaining parts of the building were salvaged and repaired, and it continued to function as a dormitory.

However, Richter Hall has a reputation of being one of the least desirable dorms on campus, and is usually the last on-campus living space to be filled.

The first floor is all-male, and is the setting of i.s.o. The second floor is all-female, and includes the women's bathroom. The remains of the third floor are co-ed, including a men's bathroom and the living spaces of all the main characters of The Class Menagerie. The destroyed portion of the third floor has no ceiling and is effectively the roof above the second floor.

Zackie

cleanup
Zackie (born January 1, 1981 in Alexandria, Virginia) is a furry artist whose fursona is a horse.

Zackie was born in rural Virginia, United States (where horses are commonly found), which contributes to his somewhat Southern accent. He joined the furry fandom around 2005.

Fursona appearance
Zackie is 6'10" tall and weighs 500 lbs. He is built rather largely, with a keg-like belly, big, wide shoulders, and muscular arms and legs which him a kind of "bearish" look.

Zackie has short, chocolaty-brown fur and a light black mane that reaches down to about the lower part of his back, though this is rarely noticeable in pictures due to his build. His tail also is quite long, reaching to his hooves.

Personality
Despite his large size, Zackie acts as though he is weak, and thus becomes the target for bullies. He has something of a girlish and naive personality. Though never cross-dressing in public, he will sometimes do so in private.

Zackie usually comes off as innocent, though - when necessary - he can prove to be quite cunning and clever. This is rarely to the extent in which anyone is hurt, if ever.

Zackie's girlishness, perhaps, has caused him to constantly worry about his appearance, whether he is getting nice clothes or simply combing his hair. Because of this, he is constantly seen wearing well-tailored suits, usually without ties as "his neck is too thick". Zackie's suits have quite an array of colors, but usually consist of neon blue/purple and black.

On a few ocassions, Zackie has streaked his hair with either baby blue or pink, but never with more then one color at a time.

Palcomix

2018-12-30T03:27:20Z

2601:14C:100:365A:B1AB:828D:B0B9:FED1:

Palcomix is a comic project by several artists, including but not restricted to: BBMBBF, Krezz Karavan and 8Horns.
rating-nc17-button
*Addresses:
**Web site: http://www.palcomix.com/
**Jab Archives store: http://jabarchives.com/cart/index.php?manufacturers_id=16
The Palcomix website featured an art and discussion forum and its main section (it no longer exists because the files where corrupted), a collection of comics made by the Palcomix team.

Comics
Most of Palcomix's comics feature at least mild erotic content, partially including fetishes such as foot-fetish, BDSM, Lolicon, spanking, and cub art. The orientation is usually straight or lesbian. While some comics are directly featured by the Palcomix team and solely created by them, most comics are commissions done for other people. In these cases the given story is drawn and colored by the Palcomix team and released on their website page by page like in a regular webcomic.
Most comics are based on American cartoon shows and cannot be considered furry, but some comics are also either base upon furry series (e.g. Road Rovers), or have been created as independent stand-alone furry comics, like Krezz Karavan's "The 5th Phase" and "School Days".

Palcomix also has a VIP section for subscribing members only.

Sister Sites
Palcomix has several sister sites, also accessible to subscribing members

*Digi-Hentai: Digimon-themed content
*Pokeporn Live: Pokémon-themed content
*Mobius Unleashed: Sonic The Hedgehog-themed content
*Equestria Untamed: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic-themed content
*Slave Toons: Bondage fetish-themed content
*Rear Deliveries: Gay-themed content
*Yuri Haven: Lesbian-themed content

CD releases
The Palcomix team has also released CDs containing their comic releases, artwork by the team members (some of the art exclusively done for the CDs), and guest art by different artists. Currently, there are five CDs that have been released, and they can be bought through the Jab Archives store for US$25 each.

BBMBBF

2018-12-30T03:25:15Z

2601:14C:100:365A:B1AB:828D:B0B9:FED1:

BBMBBF, also known as Pietro Bambino (real name Alex Ross; born May 19, 1982 in Chantilly, Virginia) is a Peruvian furry artist specializing in fetish comics and commissions, with some erotic anime media.

BBMBBF is a staff member at the Palcomix site, and the official facefact of public relations with the site's fans and clients.

Controversy
BBMBBF was banned from Fur Affinity in December 2011, for violation of the site's cub art rules.
