24.85.26.49: added unsigned tag

I don't get this entry. What exactly is this thing? Is it a message board? A gaming system? How does it work? What are the rules? Seems to be a lot of backstory, but not much else of substance. Could you please flesh this out a little so at least someone reading this entry knows what's actually going on? 733

:It's a message board/Instant messenger based role-play group, taking place in a fictional universe. It is based on freeform, diceless gaming, meant for intermediate to advanced roleplayers. --The Listener 19:49, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

:: I had the same questions as the person above. Please edit this entry to make it clear what's involved and what this entry refers to. --Lynn Onyx 02:05, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I added some content explaining what cyber-fighting is all about. What else should I do? Coelacanth1938 10:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

24.85.26.49: Added June 2006 templates

WikiFur's furpile is a great way to get the attention of editors to a page that you think needs it, whether that page is currently good in most areas but needs improving, is little more than a stub, or doesn't even exist yet! Each item in the furpile is posted on the front page on the specified day.

Adding to the furpile
To add a page to the furpile, simply click one of the red links below and insert the link to the article(s) that you wish to see improved (or perhaps created), in the format that you want it to be shown (usually bold). There is no limit on the number of pages you can list, and you can list any particular page up to once a week if you feel it still needs improving - please don't list an article that's already scheduled to be shown, though!

You can also list categories or WikiFur pages if you feel they need improvement. What will you add to the furpile?

Note: If you wish to add a page yourself, just put the name into the search box, click Go, and then click the red link.

Furpile entries
The list of articles that appeared on the Furpile from its inception on 3 Jan 2006 through the end of March 2006 may be seen at the Furpile Archive.

Is there any reason to preserve this page? While I don't particularly approve of the method of expression of intent, I also don't see much point in keeping it, unless there's more to this individual than is written here. --GreenReaper 03:44, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

The short-and-sweet summary of this anti-furry sounds fine to me. I think would be a public service to keep the page going.

24.85.26.49: COTI-ites or COTI-ietes ?

Is this an appropriate category to have? To me, it will be a personal attack on the subject of any article that does belong here, and be an open invitation for all of COTI to create their own page. Then again, GreenReaper probably would support the latter... nn; Almafeta 12:19, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)

COTI-ites or COTI-ietes ?
WikiFur currently has two categories (1) COTI-ites (lists 5 names) and (2) COTI-ietes (is blank). I assume the second is a typo of the first. Any objections to me changing "COTI-ietes" to "COTI-ites"?

Shayla the Pink Mouse

24.85.26.49: /* Story points */ corrections

Shayla the Pink Mouse is a mature comic written and drawn by Shane Nelson. It features a pink female mouse (Shayla) with lots of attitude.

Characters
This is only a partial list.

Shayla: The primary character of the comic. Shayla is a born tomboy with an attitude whose bust size is insignificant enough that at least one man confused her for a fellow man. It also causes her grief when the same man told her that the confusion was her fault for not dressing like normal women and not having a normal bust like most women. This resulted in said man's nead being jammed into a garbage disposal and requiring a pair of EMTs to free him. She also eventually takes on a more active behavior early in the comic.
Cindy: Shayla's former roomate. While also a mouse, she is very flirtacious and sometimes even airheaded, doing things that make Shayla's temper break through the roof often. Their cohabitation ended in comic 44 when their apartment burned down. (Later revealed to be the result of Cindy's negliengence.) Cindy is currently living with a pair of furs named Jack and Brian.
Bealzabub: Shayla's brother. Where Shayla is pink, this character is teal. The color differences were described as the family's heritage being from the "Painted Desert" where there are so many colors all over the place that blending in meant being unusual colors as well by evolution. This also confirmed that the colors were not dyes.
Yuriko: A spoted cheetah most likely. Not really a primary character, but a recurring one who has a twin sister (of a solid dark color). She and her sister share the same house and also share Bealzabub.
Trevor: An equine and the owner of a coffee shop that hides a porn studio in its basement. Shayla's current employer. Trevor is completely obsessed with Shayla and often offered suggestions in that regard. Trevor became Shayla's new room mate as of comic 50.

Story points
spoiler
These are only a few points in the story.

*Trevor gives Shayla a job in his coffee shop, but he also offers her fifty dollars for every time she sleeps with him. To this offer, Shayla makes a comment about a lawsuit ready to go, though she takes the job in the shop while refusing the secondary offer. Shayla later gets confused for a male by a friend she knew. This later ends with the friend getting his head stuck in a garbage disposal for delivering a very offensive insult about her in comparison to other women.
*When Shayla discovers the studio through a forgetful comment about putting a box of supplies in the basement, Shayla gets a breakdown of the offer she was given before and ends up sharing it with Cindy. Though it was put as a joke, she mentions how the paycheck breakdown would itself come to five thousand dollars a month, a sum which makes Cindy act on impulse to sign up as an amateur porn star at the studio.
*Shayla's brother comes down to visit with a motorcycle to drop off so she won't be late to work anymore. However, he arrived mainly to meet Yuriko in person and subsequently her twin sister when a lunch turns into a more personal meeting.
*Shayla's apartment burns down, forcing her and Cindy to live with Trevor. It also results in the first time we see Shayla get seriously drunk enough to pass out after making a pass at Trevor and her defensive statement to his refusal that she was not drunk.
*Bealzabub learns, much to his total shock, that both Yuriko and her twin sister are pregnant. This causes his parents to come down to give him a piece of their minds, or at least his mother intends to do that. The situation is somewhat diffused when he directs his mothers rage at his sister instead of himself through a clever mention of how her boss is also running a porn studio, a manuever his father states was a wise move and that he learned well.

Albedo Anthropomorphics

2005-11-18T18:35:37Z

24.85.26.49: /* External links */ changed link to GCD so Albedo list sorted chronologically

Albedo Anthropomorphics or its short name, Albedo, is the name of a furry comic book anthology which is often credited with starting the furry comic book subgenre that featured sophisticated stories with funny animals primarily intended for an adult audience.

It was started by Steve Gallacci who produced the main feature of the series, "Erma Felna: EDF". It is a sophisticated science fiction military series set in a sector of space populated by sentient and predominately humanoid versions of several mammal and avian species.

The main focus of the series is Erma Felna, a young feline officer who eventually plays a central role of the complex political conflicts that consume her universe.

Other series have included:
*"High Orbit"
*"Konny and Czu"
*"Space Wolf"
*The first episodes of "Usagi Yojimbo"
*"Watchrats"

The title was originally self published by Gallacci in his own company called Thoughts and Images. When the company folded, Antarctic Press resumed the title for several years, both in a black and white series and a short lived color one. Currently, the title is carried by Shanda Fantasy Arts.

There are also three different RPGs by the same name, based on the Erma Felna storyline. The first two were published by Chessex, while the newest one is being published by Sanguine.
