Daniel A. Skirtandzy (born 1992) is an orange tabby cat furry, currently living in Pennsylvania, USA.

Fandom involvement
Dan first heard of the fandom in late 2003, but paid little mind to it, soon forgetting about it. A few years later, while researching about hybridization for a school project, he stumbled upon the fandom again. This time something clicked, and kept his attention, as he spent more time researching it.

In early 2008, he found a furry community at Gamespot forums, which led him to Furaffinity. While still new to the fandom, be met a few other younger furs, who led him to Furry Teens Forums. Dan generally spends his time now on a few forums, Furaffinity, and the IRC chatrooms.

Fursonas and characters
Dan currently has one main fursona, with two alternates.

*Daniel is Dan’s main fursona. He is an orange tabby, who’s age and attitude fall in line with Dan.
*Li’l Dan is Dan’s cub fursona. He is generally playful and expressive. Like Daniel, he is a cat.
*Sydney is Dan’s female character, and a corgi.

Meets and Conventions
At the end of 2010, Dan started taking a look into participating in meets and conventions.

To date, he has attended: [ *(S) denotes staff position]
*Delaware Furbowl 25, 30, 32, 36
*New Year's Furry Ball 2010-11
*FA:United 4
*Anthrocon 2011
*Furstivus 2011/12 (S)

As well as a handful of other local events.

Fursuit
In early 2011, Daniel obtained a pre-made suit from Spiritwolven. He still has plans for a future suit of his fursona.

Interests
Daniel splits his time between the outdoors and being behind a computer. When outside, he generally takes time to take pictures or hit the roads on a bike. When inside, he spends a good bit of time on the computer, where he enjoys chatting with his friends, most of whom are other furs. He is also a very active member on the Furry Teens Forums.

Fursuit Crafting
In 2009, a notable change took place when FirestormSix ventured from the 2-Dimensional world of Art, into the 3-Dimensional world of Fursuit construction.

Since the debut of his first build at Midwest FurFest 2008 in Chicago Illinois, -Dakkota Wolf- (based off the Native Indian Timber Wolf from his past artworks), FirestormSix has taken the fursuit building world by storm with some very refined skills and techniques in costume & fursuit construction.

Since begining Fursuit building, in just 3 short years, Firestorm, whom founded Stormfire Studios Costumes & Fursuits Canada (SSC) has become a highly requested fursuit builder in the entire furry community. Firestorm and his staff at SSC has become known for very high quality, diversity, soulfull, and very caracter specific fursuits, and constantly raising the bar in fursuit design and innovation.
Starting out on a completely different track with his own very unique style, Firestorm with SSC has become known for a unique style, refining his skills at an alarmingly fast rate, to what is now become a benchmark of quality and refinement.
