ConFuzzled is a UK convention to celebrate the genre of anthropomorphics, or furry fandom. ConFuzzled UK is registered as a private company limited by guarantee, no. 06185967 (incorporated 27 March 2007).

History
Planning for ConFuzzled started in 2005, after several people from the UK furry community became frustrated by a lack of prior organization. This group decided to organize a furry convention, based upon their experience with furmeets. The convention has received help and advice from Chairo, Cheetah, Kiran Lightpaw, and Timduru.

Confirmation of the venue was announced on the website in February 2007; the same month further details of the convention events were also announced, along with the unveiling of the website and logo. The ConFuzzled Forum and FAQ opened on May 12, 2007. ConFuzzled Focus, a magazine-style newsletter started on 29 October 2007.

Registration
Registration for ConFuzzled 2009 opened at 9pm BST (UTC+1) on the 31st July, with the attendance and accommodation tickets sold out within weeks. ConFuzzled is now offering an attendance only rate for those that live locally or wish to stay in local hotels.

The attendance only rate does not include food at the hostel and is limited to only 50 places. Prices are £50 attending only, £160 standard (including accommodation and food), and £200 sponsor. The standard and sponsor rates are cheaper than those in 2008.

"Early Badgers" who register and pay before the 1st January 2009 get a £10 discount. For those that still wish to wait for an attendance and accommodation ticket (standard or sponsor), a waiting list is active.

Mascot
ConFuzzled's mascot is Brok, a black and white badger with a top hat and an affinity for cookies; he has his own page on the website. Brok was officially unveiled on June 20, 2007 as the convention mascot. He was designed by Josef "Tabbie" Zsapka with the original concept by FurbleFox.

RBW (originally Red Blue & White) is the UK's first and Europe's second largest furry convention. Held annually in London, England, it attracts furs from across the UK, Europe and the US.

Background
Founded in 1998, the LondonFurs had a long tradition of an annual Christmas meal. However, in the last few years the group has grown to such a point as to make an annual dinner for all impractical. When Rapido became responsible for the group in 2006, he replaced the meal with a much larger event, Red, Blue and White (originally London Boat Party). Taking place after the 2006 Christmas Meet, the party attracted around 85 furs who were entertained by music and a live performance by 2, The Ranting Gryphon aboard a leisure boat sailing up and down the River Thames.

In 2007 the event was expanded into a full two day convention format, albeit one that took place in a bar in the City of London. Selling 242 tickets, the event continued to focus around the boat party, but also offered a wide range of events on shore.

After the success of 2007, organisers sought to emulate the format of larger conventions by hosting the 2008 event in the Royal National Hotel, Bloomsbury, London. However, Rapido dramatically left the team in the summer preceding throwing the organisation into confusion and spreading doubts about the event's future success. Fortunately the intense efforts of the remaining team, now joined by the dynamic duo Kittiah and Miyabi, allowed RBW 2008 to proceed.

Looking to the future, RBW 2009 will again utilise the hotel convention format, with the boat party -- for which the convention has become world renowned -- remaining a central feature.
