'''Kobura Shinja Cape''' (aka Kobu) is one of the moderators at [[Furgasmic.com]].

He was introduced to the [[furry fandom]] approximately three years ago, when an idea and a search for a picture led him to an entirely new concept for him: [[furry]].

The [[fursona]] of Kobura was an idea that came from a dream and later took on a life of his own. A [[Wikipedia:Cobra|cobra]]-[[Wikipedia:Naga|naga]] of sorts, he refers to himself as a 'scaleblood' or a 'coldkin'. He is entirely black, with his body entirely scaly from snout to paralyzed tail-tip.

==Forum Activity and Tenure at Furgasmic==

He initially joined an unnamed website in late 2006, several years after Kobura's creation, but was asked to leave due to his still being underage. Upon the day he turned eighteen, he returned to the same site and saw that it was not as good as what he remembered. A respected friend, [[Vulpes Proeliator]], guided him to Furgasmic. They later were both appointed forum moderators. In addition to the forum, he moderates the IRC chat, both furgasmic and furgasmicyiff. He has since branched out on IRC, to regularly occupy channels as Furaffinity as well.

==Real Life data==

Kobura is currently named David Sandberg, living near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He is active in the local furry community, making regular visits to the Northeast Anthropomorphic Association meets in northern New Jersey, and the Lupinefox gatherings nearby.

==Trivia==

Kobura initially stayed away from sexual matters, just wishing to meet others and engage in clean roleplay. As time went on, many simply stopped asking him for sexual roleplay and he grew to be almost a fatherly figure amongst those at Furgasmic.{{fact}} Since, he has shed his self-labeled 'prudelike' online abstinence.

Kobura is not biased for or against either gender, despite having a certain liking for naga of all types (which he differentiates from lamia). He's had his share of close calls when it comes to mates, in and out of character alike. He likes to consider himself one of the pillars of the furry community, despite his overall low profile.

More recently, 'Kobu' and 'Kobura', formerly just different nicknames/titles for the same being, have been slightly differentiated as for male and female, although the demarcation is hardly formal.

Kobura happily shares his contact information, especially his phone, and sometimes even home address.
