The Tucson Mob is a highly-informal group of furries and other fans in Southern Arizona (USA) centered around the city of Tucson. The only requirements for membership were you had to live in or around Tucson at the time and know each other, and be tolerable.

Current members include Ted Sheppard, Mike Kelly, Mitch Beiro, Wolf Smith, and Brandon Johnson.

Former members include Jim Groat, Steve Corbett, Karno, and McMoo. (Yes, McMoo was from Phoenix and Karno from Iceland; it really is a very informal group.) Other notables, Robert "Tony" Newell, Daryl Jones, and Scott Malcomson (who no longer lives in Tucson but is old guard Mob). Several people are honorary Mob members.
Rob "Gizmo" Powell of California, Phil Morrissey of Missouri, being two examples.

In the past, the Tucson Mob was known as "the wrong people" by clique-ish snobby furfan types. The Tucson Mob has little time for fan-politicising, or worrying what others may think of the Mob members or their actions. The Mob does what it does, and if marching to one's own drummer and thinking for oneself is the key, the Mob should be in good company. For the most part, The Mob members make good neighbors. They don't smoke or use drugs, they vote regularly and pay their taxes. They are even nice to their mothers. They travel within and without the U.S. taking trips to Japan being one notable annual event.
All in all, the Tucson Mob is what you would want in a group of unmarried men. They go about their business and leave other people alone. They hardly ever break things that don't belong to them, and they obey all posted traffic control regulations, they do not run with scissors.
