The primary reason for the move to Jacksonville was cost - hotels in Orlando and Tampa wanted two to three times what Megaplex had paid for space in the past, whereas the Wyndham's offer was more in line with previous costs.

185 furs attended the sixth Megaplex which featured a game show theme. The low ammount of furs compared to last year was attributed to the very close date and location to Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007.
Furfags.com is a BBS forum used by furs and other people to, make fun of certain people in the fandom, especially babyfurs and sexual roleplayers, which are the most common targets of discussion. Originally a gallery for LazerZero's photography, it soon expanded to host the current message board.
Note that Furfags.com is not Furfag.com, even though the two are commonly mistaken for each other on more than a few occasions - even by the admins of each site.
Rules and content
The rules on Furfags.com are very slack, and run on a "three strike" system. There is only one official rule: "Don't be an idiot." But, all though not listed, there is a unspoken rule about partaking in anything "Yiff" related, expecially roleplaying. Unlike other websites with similar views and resources, there is a section solely dedicated to Roleplay. Any kind is permitted, except, as stated, anything "yiffy" (note: "yiff" posts are commonly referred to as "textfucking" on the message board.)

Anti-furry label
Despite the use of the term Furfag on its title, plus the posting of forum topics commonly making fun of furs, its staff claim not to be an anti-furry, specially by making the point that most of its forum members are furries themselves, with most of them either being users from the Jack community who are sick of the people there, or LazerZero's personal online friends.
Quick Q.
Regarding the AnthroCon IRL "raid" by 7channers (as I noticed the lack of a reference was brought up in an edit summary), would it be permissible to use, say, an LJ entry or something or does wikifur have a minimum standard for sources that is higher than that?
I was wondering the same thing. What kind of reference could be used? As with almost all imageboards, inactive posts are deleted within a day, which makes using anything there as a reference rather hard. What else could be used? --206.61.189.157 20:15, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
