Jessica Maia Albee (born July 16, 1982), known by the pseudonym Jessie T. Wolf, is a female Canadian (mixed heritage) furry artist from Toronto, Ontario. Her character is a dark chocolate colored female wolf-dog (black Canadian timber wolf, and German Shepherd Dog).

She was one of the Guests of Honor at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2005, along with Fel.

Background

Jessie was born in Montreal, Quebec, but her family moved to Toronto, ON when she was just a young pup. Jessie has lived most of her life in Toronto, until her recent move to Squamish, BC in March of 2007, with her husband at the time, Timothy_Albee. Since that time, Jessie has moved an additional four times in the last two years - London England, Michigan, Vancouver, and now she is settling in Surrey, BC, where she resides at "The Dog House" with her BF Torwin, and roommates Jack, Sairys, Ruggs, Orion, Lemony, and Gritz.

Career

Jessie's love for dogs has resulted in many years spent working at various animal shelters, grooming salons, kennels, doggie daycares and veterinary clinics. She has also done a lot of rescue and foster work, and has helped place many dogs into loving homes. Jessie recently received her certification to be an obedience trainer, and works full time in Vancouver. It was her love for her last dog, a little black and white Pit Bull mix named Zena, who inspired Jessie to become a trainer (and is also the reason why she now has a soft spot in her heart for Bull and Mastiff breeds).

The Artist

Jessie has been drawing animal-themed art since she could pick up a pencil, and has always had a fondness for canines. New art from Jessie T. Wolf can now be found on FurAffinity. Her art tools of choice are color pencils, and digital coloring in Photoshop. As a result of the frequent moves and a brief career change, (gone from animation, back into animal services) Jessie has been out of the Furry scene for the last couple of years, and has not been as active at conventions, and with her artwork as she would like to be. Jessie is no longer open for commissions, and is making a strong effort to finish up her 3-year backlog of owed artwork. Jessie is also making a comeback to Furry, and making the change from being chained to a Dealer's Table, to being more socially active and now enjoying Fursuiting!

The Fursuiter

In 2006, Jessie commissioned Latin_Vixen to make a full Jessie Fursuit. Unfortunately, due to constant relocation, the Jessie suit spent close to two years in storage, until just recently. In the summer of 2008, Jessie officially began fursuiting again, and attended Howloween 2008, her first time fursuiting at a con since Anthrocon 2006. Jessie has since gone to Further Confusion '09, and All Fur Fun '09 in the Jessie suit.

Future Conventions

Jessie will be attending Rainfurrest '09, Howloween '09, and Further Confusion 2010.

Background

Torwin Aka "The Kanadian Kollie" is a Bisexual male Border Collie, he lives in Surrey B.C., Canada

Torwin was born Oct.14 1987, he came across "Brody" a young abandoned Border Collie, in the Prince George SPCA, Brody had been left tied to the back porch of a home in the middle of a Canadian Winter, his owners had moved away. Brody was discovered missing his right rear leg.

Torwin immediately bonded with the collie and visited it daily until he had to money to adopt him, the two of them grew up together and and became best friends in a time in Torwin's life where he needed it the most, after his mother had walked out on the family. This evolved into something he did not have a name for and only recently discovered the Furry fandom, where he feels quite at home with others like him. Brody now lives with Torwin's grandfather in Nanaimo, B.C.

Into the Furry Fandom Headfirst...

Torwin first found the furry subculture through Second Life, where he stumbled into "The Yiff Factory" owned and operated by Felix Oxide. This is were he met Samwise Husky who was his mate at that time, Recca Allen, Gas-Mask Dragon and many others. Sam played a pivotal role in Torwin's evolution from SL. They attended an anime convention in Vancouver, B.C. (Anime Evolution) where Sam presented him with his first collar, since then Torwin has felt uncomfortable without it, and only removes it for work. They ran into Rainrat (VaF) and were both invited to a furry birthday party (Lace Aurora's). It was there that Torwin had his first fursuit encounter. Sam got Lace to pounce Torwin and show him furry cuddle. From that moment on, Torwin had to aquire a fursuit, no matter the cost, with Rainfurrest on the horizon in less than a month, gears went into motion.

The Collie Suit!

Things looked grim when Torwin couldn't find someone to commission a head in less than a month. He had almost given up hope when Samwise suprised him with a the idea of making Torwin a head, based from a Matrices design. Plans went back into motion, the best he could hope for was a partial.

Torwin attended Rainfurrest 08 with a completed partial, the paws and tail were made by Alan Tabby and because of a fabric store mixup, the fur didn't match (Ended up getting Cow hide, rather than the black and white fur requested) but it was a collie and it meant the world to him. His first convention could not have gone better, lots of fursuiting, alcohol and parties made up for little sleep, which was acceptable. He met tons of great furs there, Like Flask Raccoon (Ezo) and Gasmask Dragon. He enjoyed it so much he was visually upset at the time of Departure and misses everyone greatly. Torwin has since commissioned Scribblefox for a Border Collie suit

Torwin attended Further Confusion 2009 in the Purpleski suit with Samwise Husky, Corran Fox, Whitepaws, Forestpaw and RainRat

A Phoenix Reborn from ashes...VIFur

Following his first convention, Torwin set about rebuilding VIFur (Vancouver Island Furs) after tracking several down, they were able to hold they're first fur meet at Nightfox's home in Nanaimo. Six Month later, The VIFurs currently meet on the first Saturday of every month at the Ramada Inn, Nanaimo, B.C. The last meet had over 35 furs in attendance.

The Dog House

In March 2009 Torwin moved to Surrey, Vancouver and acquired house. The House has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 Living Rooms, A Large Yard and a Garage. It was quickly filled and coincidentally was made up entirely of Canines, Sparking the Nickname of the Surrey Fur Residence as "The Dog House". Living in Vancouver brings no end of happiness to this pup, being closer to Friends and his Mate. Resident Furs at "The Dog House" are, Ruggs, Sairy's, Lemony, Orion, Jack, Jessie T. Wolf and Torwin. Ember Fox is due to move in on Sept 1st, as Orion is departing for his own place with his new husband, Hazel.

Grease Dawgs

Upon learning that the Dog House came with a garage, Ruggs and Torwin decided to start a light Auto repair/service shop for furs. Torwin recently worked for Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep and knows all the good stuff when it comes to Domestic Vehicles from 4x4 to Muscle. Ruggs is an Import tuner pro and has built and modded more Asian Cars than he cares remember. Armed with Torwin's Extensive Toolset and the love for helping Furs in need, The Grease Dawgs Furry Auto Repair is open!

The Surrey Dog House Furry Friends

With the arrival of Jess, came "Mojo", a Retired sled dog from Alaska and "Penny", a chihuahua Jess rescued from her Sister. The two new arrivals are Torwin's new Border Collie puppy "Tobias" (Tobi) and Jess's pup "Jango" a Rottweiler. A large outdoor Kennel was added to the Doghouse as well as the Dining rooms conversion to a Dog room in order to house everyone happily.

Howloween 2008
Further Confusion 2009
