Xanthe (born May 1, 1985) is a Palomino Quarter Horse, Percheron mix that lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, U.S.A, where she is employed by the state. She is mated to Eratu who lives about 3 miles away from her. Xanthe has been a furry since around 2001. She introduced her mate to the fandom, and Eratu now considers himself to be a furry as well. She will be attending her first furry convention, RCFM, with him, as well as Oklacon 2007.

Xanthe is on staff for GCFC, a new furry con planned for December 2008 in New Orleans.

Xanthe is a member of Louisianafurs; her first meet was Yuro Zutto's birthday party in March 2007. She is a colorist for Yoru's work.

Xanthe can be found on SecondLife under the user name Xanthe Blackadder.

Other Characters By Xanthe
Xanthe also uses many other characters from time to time. Here is a list of them:

Xrena is a black wolfess with red highlights. Xrena's normally clothing is a light green dress that is opened at the waist and covering her legs are in a green skirt. Then there is Sasha who is a massage therapist. Sasha is a powder blue vixen with light purple markings and maroon hair, normally kept in a bun. Next is Zanna. A komodo dragon lady that stands taller then the rest of the characters. She has bright red hair and a scar over her right eye. The last character is Zenara. Zenara is a hybrid. She is a cross between a tiger and a leopard.

The alter ego of Xanthe has no name. She is as evil as she is black. Her pelt the deepest of black, so black there is a slightly purple tint to it. Her mane and tail are made of blue flames. A bit of flame comes from her hooves and hands. Her hooves are golden and those eyes are a hellish red.
Even though the NightMare is an equine she has fangs and bat like wings that are somewhat tattered, but can still hold her in the air. When wishing to move she can either fly using her wings or drift. Yes, I said 'drift.' The NightMare is able to allow her body to shift into a mist that floats about, barly noticed at all.

A bit evil and mostly insane, the NightMare is the darker side of Xanthe. The NightMare comes out when she is terriably upset, depressed, pissed off, or sometimes the NightMare just comes out. Pray that you never come across this NightMare.

Conventions
