Frazzle, also "FrazzleRat", "Frazzle, the SewerRat" or just "SewerRat", is a furry cartoonist and animator who lives in Berlin, Germany.

Fandom involvement
General
Frazzle has been publishing his art in the furry fandom since the mid 90s, starting out on SCFA/Yerf, and was present on VCL. Today, his work can be found on Fur Affinity, Twitter and Bluesky.

Socially, Frazzle got in touch with the fandom through IRC, also in the 90s. He attends various conventions regularly since 2000 (he was Head of Security at EuroFurence in 2001 & 2002), and sometimes frequents local meets, such as the Berlin Sommerfest.

Art
His artwork consists mostly 90s style line-based, often flat-colored toony characters, sometimes clean, sometimes naughty. His trademark motifs revolve around mischievous girls, often canines, playing with or popping balloons (Frazzle was one of the first open advocates for the now popular Balloon Fetish in the Fandom).

Apart of his fursona, a cartoon-style rat, Frazzle is mostly known for drawing an anthro vixen named "Trixie Vixen". This character also appeared outside the Furry Fandom in the mainstream market, most notably on a series of Zippo lighters, sold in the German Army since 2009.

Frazzle frequently publishes printed goods on paper and merchandise products since the early 2000s, such as Pin-Up calendar, mousepads, wall clocks, courier bags and the like. He also offers on-site drawings during conventions, like for sketchbooks.
Personal life
Frazzle was born in Bochum, West-Germany, in the late 70s, a late Gen X kid from the Ruhrpott. He works in TV 2D Animation and as an Illustrator and Character Designer. He is also an experienced Balloon Decorator since the late 90s, working in the event industry, as a specialist for large-scale balloon decor installations.
