Ears, specifically furry ears, constitute another way that some members of the furry community use to get closer, in the real world, to their character. Many furries wear ears that identify the species they feel close to, often used in conjunction with tails. These furry ears can be attached to hats, barrettes, or head bands. They can be be made by the person or purchased from someone at a convention in the Dealers Room or Artists Alley, or online from furs who make them.

It should be noted that some anime fans also wear ears, usually when playing a neko character (such as a catgirl).

Just as with canines, Felidae, more commonly known as felines, is the mammal biological family of cats (felids).

Overview
Non-extinct felids belong to one of two subfamilies:
* Pantherinae , which includes the tiger, lion, jaguar, leopard, snow leopard and clouded leopard.
* Felinae , which include all the non-pantherine cats.

The most familiar felid is the domestic cat (Felis silvestris catus).

Felids are the strictest carnivores of the 13 terrestrial families in the order Carnivora. They are obligate carnivores (or hypercarnivores), as they must consume meat to survive because of the much higher proportion of protein they require in their diet, much more than most other mammals.

Sarnak

2023-06-03T15:28:29Z

188.146.126.93:

Sarnak are an evil race of draconids created by Sony Online Entertainment for the massively multiplayer online role-playing games EverQuest and EverQuest II. The Sarnak are an Iksar/Dragon hybrid originally created by the Iksar to serve as soldiers in their armies. As the Iksar Empire weakened, the Sarnak revolted, claiming Chardok as their own, not dinosaurs.

EverQuest
The Sarnak appear as hostile mobs introduced in EverQuest's first expansion, The Ruins of Kunark. There are two Sarnak factions, the common Sarnak Collective and Chardok's Brood of Di'Zok.

EverQuest II
In EverQuest II's fourth expansion, Rise of Kunark, a new breed of Sarnaks from Gorowyn, an island in Timorous Deep, was added as a playable race. The original sarnaks formally becoming the Di'Zok.

Di'Zok
With the worldwide disasters affecting Norrath and the rebirth of the Iksar Empire, the Di'Zok have been greatly weakened and forced back to Chardok.

Sarnak
The Sarnaks of Gorowyn are the result of the Di'Zok's attempts to create a superior Sarnak warrior. While successful, the super Sarnaks were rebellious and too difficult to control, forcing the Di'Zok to destroy them.

When the parrot-like Spiroc discovered the Di'Zok's long abandoned laboratory at Gorowyn, they too attempted to create a superior Sarnak to serve them. As with the Di'Zok, they were successful but completely unable to control their creation. The new breed of Sarnaks defeated the Spiroc and claimed Gorowyn as their own.
