173.30.74.79:

This is what I get for googling...

First off, you got the date wrong, it was 2000, not 2001.

Plus... I'm not really comfortable with having my comic listed on this page. How would I go about having it taken down? 69.146.154.249

:I checked the first issue of your comic and sure enough, the year was wrong. I went and fixed that on the article.

:As for removing the article, I'm not sure if we even have a policy for that. I'll let GreenReaper handle that one. --Douglas Muth 13:31, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

::Basically, no, but you're welcome to contribute to the article yourself and you can replace your name with a fan name if you prefer (note that if you register and setup email notification you can watch this page to ensure that no inaccurate information is added). There is a fuller answer at WikiFur:Help Desk#Untitled! comic article. and the question has previously come up at Talk:Guardian Knights. --GreenReaper(talk) 13:43, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

I just want to let it be known I'm allowing this article to exist under protest.
-- G. Pike.

:I'm sorry you feel that way. Are there modifications to the article which would leave you more comfortable? -- Sine 00:50, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

::It's not the article, it's the fact that it's here. There are some aspects of the fandom that are not pleasing to everyone. --GreenReaper(talk) 03:44, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

:::Yup, you got me pegged. What can I say? I've known my share of "friendly, loving, open-minded" furry fans and while I like them as people I just can't stand the culture and I can't forgive it for corrupting so many people including myself any more than most furry fans can forgive President Bush. Sorry. --G. Pike.

::::Oh well. At least Bush will be gone in two years . . . (I'm opposed to him personally, not his party - honestly though, as a visitor from the UK, I think both the major parties here are pretty whacko ;-). I think that any culture reflects the individuals that are in it. As the population changes (and it is changing, over time), so will the culture. The converse of that is that culture attracts people that enjoy it, but I think furry is too big for that to be the leading factor in population growth nowadays.

::::Of course, I was corrupt before I arrived, so I can hardly tell the difference! Regardless, I find it hard to believe that a culture that resulted in three days of utter fun can be all that bad (if images of people having fun in costume disturb you, try this all text version). --GreenReaper(talk) 04:19, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
:::::Tell you what... you people get rid of the perverts, pr0n addicts, lifestylers, pedophiles, etc, and THEN I will consider your fandom to be just good clean fun and maybe I'll even associate with it again. But we both know that isn't going to happen. Because furry fandom is all about TOLERANCE, even when it means tolerating the things that makes you all despicable in the eyes of outsiders and give the people who AREN'T nuts a bad name. Okay? Okay. --G. Pike

::::::As you say, it's not all "good clean fun". A lot of it is "good dirty fun". It is unlikely that it ever will be otherwise. Tolerance is part of what makes furry fandom what it is - and part of what attracts people like myself, who value freedom of expression.

::::::Most people don't actually find furry fans despicable. There's a lot of laughing at our expense, and some nasty-minded jibes like "skunk******", but that's about the worst of it. CSI had about the worse depiction of furry fans currently circulating in popular culture, and even that just makes us look like freaks that get a lot more sex than we actually do.

::::::I can live with a stereotype, mostly because I don't really care all that much what other people think, and partly because, yes, some fans are like that. I understand it's not something everyone wants to do. Still, while you may not particularly love us, we are still thankful for your work, even if you do not intend it for us (or, perhaps, anyone). --GreenReaper(talk) 04:44, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

::::::: The furry fandom is oh so unique. I mean if you Google for things like "star wars porn", "star trek porn", and "pokemon porn", you get absolutely nothing at all. Yep, we're the only fandom out there that has a few perverts in it.
::::::: Obviously, I'm being sarcastic. Everywhere you go, you're going to find mature content. It's a fact of life. Heck, the local video store has an adult section in it. Does that mean I'm going to stop renting videos from there? Nope.
::::::: Yeah, there are some people in the fandom that I don't care for, either. But I'm not going to let them control me. I'm going to keep hanging out with friends and having fun here. You get out of the furry fandom what you put into it.
::::::: That's my two tuna on the topic. --Douglas Muth 14:26, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

I just want to let it be known I'm allowing this article to exist under protest.

Hi, me again. Will you guys allow me to edit the article as I see fit?
- Gloria

I don't want the political thing there, and I think the rest of it was dumb and poorly written. Can you guys PLEASE let me take them out?

I am not vandalizing. I am the creator of "Untitled!" and I deleted the info on the page because I felt it was irrelevant and outdated and you guys do not need a long, poorly-written article about my comic on your site.

If I had my way the "Untitled!" article would be deleted.173.30.74.79

:If the article is "outdated", "off-fact", "lacking context", I.e. simply "written wrong", it would be to a future editor to correct those. You just simply blanket the page containing actual facts, which is the last form of edit needed on this article - Spirou 02:48, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

This article doesn't need to exist, and if it's going to exist I would prefer it to be "blanked" as I edited it. - GP
