Corwin Bachran (aka Cybercoyote) has been a member of the Vegas Furs board for some 4 years, joining the forum shortly after its conception. He has been a moderator on the board from shortly after joining for being one of the few initial members that would stand up to people causing problems on the board, although part of the reason was to get him to think a little more politically about his words before letting them out.

On November 1st, 2010 he officially took over Vegas Furs after theBunnyMan stepped down for personal reasons.

Vegas Furs

138.210.39.250: /* Events */

The Vegas Furs is an active furry social group for Las Vegas and the surrounding areas.

Founded by theBunnyMan on July 27th, 2006, then taken over by Cybercoyote on November 1st, 2010, the site is aimed at bringing back together the furry community of Las Vegas and the surrounding cities. The community itself contains many active members in the forums and continues to grow quickly, gaining 15 members between the end of Further Confusion 2007 and March 14th, 2007.

It has 112 recorded members as of April 4th, 2010.

The Vegas Furs is one of three geographically significant furry groups in the state of Nevada. The other groups are Northern-Nevada based RenoFurs, and Las Vegas based Sin City Furs.

Events
Vegas Furs holds an official open meeting the first Saturday of the month.

Attendance usually ranges from 15 to 30 furs depending on availability and the event.

The location and activities of these open meetings are usually chosen by a casual vote on the forum.
The most common activities are:
* Visiting the local Pinball Museum.
*Apples to Apples at IHOP
* Pizza social at an arcade
* Meets and BBQ at Sunset Park
* Meets at the Fiesta Ice Skating Rink

There are also art jams, house meet-ups and many other events that can be set up by any member at any time at their discretion.

VegasFurs.org
The Vegas Furs website hosts many features for helping Southern Nevada furs get together. It hosts the main forums, event calendar, a Google map of its members and hangouts, a chat with webcams and a gallery. The site now also has monthly banners, contributed by the users.

VegasFurs has a strict family friendly policy as listed in the rules and because of it disallows adult content, excessive profanity and even the discussion of fetishes. For a long period of time there were extensive wordfilters blocking all profanity, sexual words and even lolspeak. These two things have been a point of controversy repeatedly on the site and after the forum software was changed out in late 2009 the wordfilters were never added back in.

In January 2010, due to repeated requests a special section of sub-forums were added called VF:BlackJack. It is a subgroup of the main forum that is opt-in and has an age limit of 21+ but is not heavily moderated and allows adult content and images to be posted but has it's own set of rules. It too has been a source of controversy.

Lemon Wolf or lemonkramer is the fursona of Leonardo Kramer who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.

Leonardo is known for his quirky status updates on sites such as Facebook and Twitter, along with his comical, often sarcastic nature. He is also in the creation of an online Webcomic Drawn To Meh. However, the publishing date of the webcomic is still unknown. (Rumored to be around January 2012)

Description
Leo's fursona is a gray wolf with rainbow colored hair and a rainbow patterned tailtip. He has a black nose with purple eyes. His pawpads and maw are a deep purple that glow when he's excited.

The purple color and glow also affect all of his skin, but can barely be seen through the fur, but any exposed skin can be clearly seen as a deep purple, included more 'mature' areas of his body.

Leo usually wears only his black cargo shorts, but at times, enjoys wearing polo shirts and hats, usually to fit the occasion.
