Furthia High is a furry webcomic by QuetzaDrake. It is about a human teenager that attends his first year of public high school in a world completely populated by furries.

The comic began in June of 2005, and went on hiatus at the end of 2007. Upon its return, the story had restarted. The old archives are still online and available for reading. In April of 2008, the comic moved from its home of almost 3 years on Comic Genesis to its own server space hosted by Concession.

At the end of July 2008, QuetzaDrake added a foreign language section, where comics translated into a multitude of languages are posted for the benefit of international readers. Currently there are about 10 different languages being hosted, including French, Italian, Hebrew, Polish, two versions of Spanish, and more.

Plot Overview
Kale Williams is described as "the last known human in the world". The comic begins with his first day attending a public high school. There, he meets Bruce, Campy, and Ashley.

In the first canon, the story details Kale's first day in school and goes on to explore his home life. In the new canon's first arc, the events are changed in that Kale meets all three of his new friends at once, and Kale's first day is glazed over and the comic jumps ahead a few weeks in the span of one strip.

In the comic's second arc, staying true to the original canon, Lupin challenges Kale to a fight, and Ashley forces him to accept. Kale takes the pacifist route, which ends with him being injured but also more respected.

In the third arc, the characters attend Bruce's birthday party (thus aging him from 16 to 17). An underlying story seems to sprout here, as Kale manages to fall down Bruce's basement steps and, when he awakens, has a case of amnesia concerning the fall.

In the fourth arc, the story revolves around the fall school dance, with particular attention being paid to each main character's own date (reluctant or otherwise) to the dance.

An alternate reality
In the fifth arc, the tone switches to a more serious tone when Kale is sent into a comatose state by an oncoming car from which he tries to move an unaware Bruce out of the way. While the other characters wonder about Kale's fate, Kale fought for his life in his black-and-white world against a parallel, vulpine self who will potentially kill for supremacy over Kale's body. Having lost the battle, Kale's body is bloodily taken over by the parallel self (in a similar vein to Agent Smith's viral assimilation method as demonstrated in the two Matrix sequel films) while his own memories remain intact; waking up from the coma, he wakes up in an alternate reality as the fox self who he battled in his coma, and is further astounded by both the replacement of his adoptive tiger family with a biological fox family and the lack of knowledge from all around him regarding his former humanity. This 'reality' is revealed to be nothing more than an illusion set by Kale's vulpine self, probably to break him down mentally for his body to be taken over. He is brought out of this illusion and back into his classic dream setting by his human half, which replaces Bruce in the illusion. The conflict between the human side and the vulpine side over Kale's conscious parallels pioneer German psychoanalysist Sigmund Freud's hypothesis of the Id, ego, and super-ego, with the conscience-driven, supporting human side representing the Super-Ego, the general conscious side of Kale representing a hapless, prone Ego, and the emotionally-driven vulpine side representing the Id.

Post-accident
The sixth arc shows the experiences of the characters during a town-wide late fall power outage.

The seventh arc reveals Kale's discovery of a "door" in his mind which contains a violent, savage blob; this blob, however, shows to Kale the shadows of people who may have something to do with his own origins.

The eighth arc revolves around Bruce's forays into MMO gaming during holiday break.

The ninth arc returns to Kale's alternate reality, encountering Mr. Beradino (or an implanted visage thereof) for the "first" time. Kale realizes more about how deep his own inner battles go as Beradino fights Fale in a bloody clash of swords. Kale revives from the episode (which was induced, unintentionally, by his psychiatrist through hypnosis) and temporarily becomes despondent.

The tenth arc shows how Bruce and Gus help Lupin (of all people) with his cooking skills while Bruce also helps Gus become more assertive and blunt about his expression of personal opinion.

The eleventh arc returns to school life, with Bruce and Connor fighting over Campy while the class is in the midst of a term paper assignment. Campy, assigned to partner with Kale, then privately reveals to Kale his intention to break up with Connor due to a perceived continuing lack of space; Kale reassures Campy of his capabilities and self-worth, and Campy replies with a full-on kiss, thus complicating Kale's own relationship with Eve, although this is revealed to be a dream of Campy's when Kale suddenly turns into a pirate.
Furthia High Blog
In January 2009, QuetzaDrake started the Furthia High Blog, in which the Furthia High characters will write various stories about themselves. The first story featured was the story of how Campy met Connor, his prom date.

Crossovers with Concession
Furthia High and another popular furry webcomic, Concession, have featured cameos and appearances of each other's characters. From subtle references, halloween costumes, to dialogue between the two. It is revealed that, non-canonically, Campy wishes to travel to the Concession dimension and win over Joel's heart.
