Tenino (born 31st May, 1992) is an Australian furry from the South Coast, NSW. Her fursona is a gothic fox, a unique sub-species of fox created by Tenino upon the creation of her fursona. Tenino is a creative furry who is passionate about her art, which includes sketching, painting, clay modelling, photography, costume making and music. Tenino also has a great passion for fursuiting, and currently is making her own fursuit with the help of fellow South Coast fur, BC Wolf. She is currently mated to Chay FuzzDingo, a dingo residing in Sydney, NSW.

'''Fursonas'''

Tenino (pronounced ten-NINE-oh) has one main fursona, plus three other sub-sonas that are linked to her main fursona. The other three characters created by Tenino are Evaro (eh-VAH-roh) the sugar-glider, Shade the ghost fox, and Camas the stagwolf. All of these names, aside from Shade, were taken from a book called ''Wolf: The Journey Home'' by 'Asta Bowen.

'''''Tenino the Gothic Fox and Shade the Ghost Fox''
'''

The back story for Tenino the Gothic Fox, her main fursona, comes from an old series of short stories that Tenino wrote back in 2010, called "Gothic Tails". The stories were based on a world turned dark, where human beings abuse the animals that they had once shared a strong alliance with. Each chapter focused on a different animal with a different story, including a wolf, a carthorse, a snake, a jackrabbit, a cat and a raven. Tenino the fox was the last character to be added to the story. She was once a normal fox, but was caught in a fox-trap and consequently bled to death. Her death, however, was somehow interrupted, and her soul was split from her body. Tenino became an undead creature, and her ghost, Shade, also walks the earth with her, beyond Tenino's knowledge.

Tenino did not actually create her image. It was originally an adoptable which she won for free on DeviantART, from an artist called PurpleFluffyPawz. Tenino later edited the image a little, adding maroon to the backs of the ears, and extra markings to the face. Shade was later created by Tenino while she was in college, coming from a random unfinished sketch she did in her spare time.

'''''Evaro the Sugar Glider''
'''

Evaro is a purple-and-white sugar glider and is Tenino's best friend. She is officially a micro character and Tenino plans on having her made into a plushie, which she will carry with her fursuit. She is also hoping to get Evaro commissioned into a fursuit in the near future. Evaro is not a part of the "Gothic Tails" story, but is instead linked to Tenino's own spin-off story, along with another character called Timber, who is Tenino's older brother. Timber has not to date been used for much art or any written stories, but is rather an idea that sprouted but never festered.

'''''Camas the Stagwolf'''''

Camas was originally created for a competition on FurAffinity, but did not win. Tenino ended up liking the character so much that she decided to keep him and use him in her art. There is no backstory for Camas thus far. He is a stagwolf, a cross between a stag and a shewolf. Currently, Camas is a work-in-progress and Tenino has hopes that he will have a big future in her art.

'''Art'''

Tenino is an avid artist and it has only been in the last couple of years that she has experimented with her creativity. She uses a variety of media, including lead and coloured pencils, markers, watercolour paints and pencils, acrylic paints and, recently, charcoal and basic digital art. She also does clay modelling and hopes to try Sculpey figurines in the future. Tenino has recently started doing commissions, and hopes to really go far with her art. She has also delved in costuming, making an Eevee partial with the help of a friend for Supanova Pop Culture Expo 2010. Tenino's fursuit, which is currently in the making, should be finished by December 2012, in time for MiDFur XIV. Aside from visual art, Tenino also plays guitar, sings and writes her own music.

'''Conventions'''

Tenino has currently only been to a few furmeets and conventions in the past two years. Her first convention was Supanova Pop Culture Expo 2010, followed by Supanova 2011, FurJam 2012 (her very first furmeet), Darling Harbour October Meet 2012, and in the near future, MiDFur XIV: The Furry Apocalypse Cometh.
