theBunnyMan believes in [[W:Totemism|animal totemism]], and believes that is what defines him as a [[furry]]. theBunnyMan has always felt the link to animals.

theBunnyMan speaks in a very lighthearted and playful tone and often wears a huge smile, but he often talks in a very jeering manner, both about all his friends and himself which is often misconstrued as him being very rude. He also often can be very offensive since he has very little shame or social taboo's, finding most of them entertaining. His livejournal was removed, [[VegasFurs]] forum name and several of his email addresses were changed. Over the next three years while he was supposed to be only a technical contact he still stepped in and dealt with many interpersonal issues due to being the only full time mod. In December 2010 after the Las Vegas Community split in to several different forums and groups, theBunnyMan completely sold and turned over the community (software, database, & domain) to [[Cybercoyote]]. Two months later all moderator privileges and access has been removed from his account.

theBunnyMan believes in animal totemism and believes that is what defines him as a furry. theBunnyMan has always felt the link to animals and performs several forms of divination, including tarot. He was a member of All Kindred Society of Las Vegas and the ShadowGate House, but left both groups to due to conflict of interests. He quietly disassociated from both groups at well as otherkin and Wicca as a whole. He currently identifies as a Nihilist but still lives by a strict personal moral code based off the pagan teachings.

The '''Vegas Furs''' is an active [[furry]] social group for [[Wikipedia:Las Vegas|Las Vegas]] and the surrounding areas.

Founded by [[Xanaphia]] on July 27th, 2006, the site is aimed at bringing back together the furry community of Las Vegas and the surrounding cities. The community itself contains many active members in the forums and continues to grow quickly, gaining 15 members between the end of [[Further Confusion 2007]] and March 14th, 2007.

It has 60 recorded members as of May 23rd, 2007.

The Vegas Furs is one of two geographically significant furry groups in the state of Nevada. The other group is Northern-Nevada based [[RenoFurs]].

== Events ==
Vegas Furs holds an official open meeting every second and fourth (when present) Saturday of the month.

Attendance usually ranges from 5 to 15 furs depending on availability and the event.

The location and activities of these open meetings are usually chosen by a casual vote on the forum.
The most common activities are:
* Bowling at the Orleans Bowling center
*[[Wikipedia:Apples to Apples|Apples to Apples]] at Dennys
* Pizza social at an arcade

There are also art jams, house meet-ups and many other events that can be set up by any member at any time at their discretion.
