The YouTube Furry War refers to refer to a short social incident between anti-furry trolls and furries within the American social media and online video sharing platform owned by Google YouTube, for 7 months during the year 2007.

Overvirew
It is notable for the mass-hacking of numerous YouTube furry accounts,cn with only minor notes and news being shared with the rest of the furry fandom.cn

History
The Ultimatum Declaratum
Although theoriescn have circulated as to how it all begun, it is held in belief to have been started by user Soki Twopaw who, fed up with the outweighing number of negative and defamatory comments on his videos, clarify promoted the idea of a furry uprising against the YouTube trolls.cn

This eventually turned into the Ultimatum Declaratum,, a video created by Soki to express his disdain towards trolls and a possible solution to them.clarify This was the (possible) catalyst for the YouTube Furry War.cn

Initially, many furrieswho were in favor of the rebellion, clarify which also drew the attention of many trollswho, who all immediately lampooned such an idea.cn As a result, many anti-fur YouTube userswho (not all were necessarily trolls) started to spam furry-related videos, whether their authors were involved in the conflict or not.cn

FCTC
A troll group calling itself the Fried Chicken Trolling Crew (FCTC) began posting inflammatory comments and phishing furry-related YouTube accounts after the beginning of the conflict. The most notable of these was in late 2007, where a failed phishing attempt, clarify circulated about it through e-mails and falsified YouTube pages, clarify forcing the FCTC to stop with them, however, they succeeded in hacking furry-related YouTube accounts.cn

Fall 2007
Between the summer and winter periods of 2007, the war mostly grew into an exchange of videos and comments between various furries and the FCTC with some major events breaking the monotony such as the hacking and vandalism of several YouTube pages, MySpace accounts, the website of Silentwulf, and a furry invasion of 7chan on September 2, 2007.cn

A video series, titled the YouTube Furry War, was started by Alexander Grey in a calm and logical manner to specifically counter comments left by trolls; by means of contrasting the usually angry and loathing videos left by enraged furs.who The series ran for only a few months under this title, to be replaced by a news series untitled the Furry Guru.

The end
After seven months, the war had largely died down by December 2007, with troll accounts having been suspended or deleted by this time. Although somewho state that the furry war had ended around late December 2007, somewho claim the war continues to persist. However, this is simply the "normal" amount of trolling furries often receive on the site.

But recently in 2025 there is been a few Anti furry YouTubers posting mean memes and comments witch is annoying the furry fandom, and this is resalting in the Furries firing back at the Anti furries creating a big argument on rummers that was spread during the first Furry War, about the furries being evil and dangerous and because of that its beginning to shape into a war witch is likely to start around April or depending on how many Furries or Anti furries up to a year

and apps like YouTube will blow up with video after video on the Furry war
