SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION is an annual room party and electronic music event hosted at Anthro SoCal by Lilac the Toaster, Xeno the Skolf, and DJ Acronix. The event features live DJ sets, lighting, and visual effects inspired by glitch aesthetics and digital error motifs.

Overview
The first SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION event took place in 2025 at Anthro SoCal, marking the debut of the collaboration between Lilac the Toaster, Xeno the Skolf, and DJ Acronix. Designed as a late-night performance space for con attendees, the party emphasizes high-energy electronic music, creative visuals, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for dancers and musicians alike. The party is designed by Audio/Visual professionals, and prides itself on being a high quality production.

Music and Guests
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION showcases a rotating lineup of furry and community DJs performing genres such as future bass, drum & bass, house, and melodic dubstep.
The inaugural 2025 event featured TekitWolf as a special guest performer, joining the main hosts for an extended set.

Theme
True to its name, the event draws inspiration from the aesthetics of digital system errors and glitch culture, with synchronized lighting, animated projections, and stylized “crash-screen” visuals used throughout the performance space. The party’s branding reflects the fusion of technology, creativity, and chaos in electronic music.
