The United Space Force Nation is a furry community who united for
the better cause of The Metaverses on the internet to create games and fun interactive content. It focuses primarily on furry centric sci-fi content in Virtual Worlds, along with systems to build more content for role-playing and other games, and events to show off various content and give all users a place to mingle.

Currently, USFN creates content and hosts events primarily on Resonite, but has also been branching out into VRchat and Overte. This content includes the worlds of a Sci-Fi setting, along with games and other content set in said setting.

History
Furcadia 2003
The group was founded as USF by Skywind Kitsune and several others on the MMOSG Furcadia in 2003, and was known for having large and elaborate Scifi worlds and Roleplaying outings.

Second Life (2006)
USF moved to to Second Life in 2006, where it was involved in the creation of several scifi areas, and other content including the AGRA "Anti-Gravity Racing Association". During this time the group had a Sandbox which catered to Furry and Scifi content, and dabbled in running their own Open Sim server, run by FoxBox, then the Vice President.

Neos/Resonite (2020 to present)
USFM moved to NeosVR in 2020, later moving to Resonite with the rest of the community in 2023.

For much of this time, it was led by one of its founding members, Skywind Kitsune, who stepped down from leadership on June 23rd, 2025.

Following the departure of Skywind, USFN has since been run by a group of staff members who he appointed and transferred accounts to before leaving.

These Team Leads included Feyyore (known for Crystaline Shard) (Discord Admin), Mera (Representing Moderation), Sharkmare and Nuki (Development Department), and Icedglitch (Events), and later re-added Glavin (known for Resonite Moderation), and added Armada and Qualia (Servers / Systems Team. This group of Team leads built a consensus-based structure for running the group democratically, without a single person being "in charge", and act primarily as representatives of all Staff members.

Storyline information
The Community has a very deep storyline developed for their characters relating to being the successors of human beings after a great interstellar war

A mad doctor by the name of Dr. Stranderbarungher sent ships away to populate several other planets in other galaxies to cultivate the new born species that
was to succeed the human race.

Bits of this lore are scattered throughout the various remaining USFN worlds.

Star Aeris The Bot
Star was a chat bot created by Gravity Zyanix, she was created before the founding of USFN, The Project was to create
a conversational bot that could fool people into thinking she was a real person.

The bot eventually was updated to defend the USFN's Sandbox region on Second Life against griefer attacks.

Star was retired from second life after the USFN community migrated to NeosVR in 2020. Her and another bot were briefly rebuilt in 2025, but were once again retired with the resignation of their maintainers.

Lore
As a scifi roleplay and gaming group, the Community has always had a complicated lore at its heart, written by its members through prose, art, and roleplay.

Original Plotline
Going back to Furcadia, the roleplay focused on the characters as the successors of human beings after a great interstellar war, and the loss of Earth.

A mad doctor by the name of Dr. Stranderbarungher sent ships away to populate several other planets in other galaxies to cultivate the new born species that
was to succeed the human race. Through automated apace probes, the distant Kelidea system became populated with animal-uplifts.

Bits of this lore are scattered throughout the various remaining USFN worlds, and told through comics by Skywind Kitsune.

Current Plotline
Following the departure of Skywind as the last of the original Furcadia group, a new storyline was developed by members who had joined from SecondLife onward, to avoid conflicts with the previous one and create fresh ground for new roleplaying and other games.

This plotline centers closer to the Solar System, with the remnants of Earth's colonies, mostly populated by animal uplifts and animalistically augmented humans, attempting to recover after the loss of Earth in aysterious disaster centuries ago.

This lore is being pieced together by group members, and will eventually be fully codified in the Library section of the USFN Headquarters World of Jupiter Station, and on the USFN Wiki.
