The Furry Enforcement Agency, also known as F.E.A. ("Fighting for a better fandom"), is a small group of furs in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, who purports to "perform the honourable role of policing the wrong-doings of fursecution and drama in and around the Australian furry fandom."

The group is also known to have been the source of a significant amount of drama.

Founded in 2008 by Timon_b and Jacora, the F.E.A. claims to investigate differences inside the fandom, and to monitor local activities. This is despite Timon_b himself having been banned from several Australian furry conventions, furmeets, mailing lists, and IRC channels.

F.E.A First made an appearance with three uniformed members attending the Supanova Pop Culture Expo on the 27th, June, 2009 in Sydney - lots of attention was given and many pictures by Supanova media were taken, and many questions from the public relating to the furry fandom were answered.

F.E.A made its second appearance in plain-clothes at FurJAM 2009 with four members attending Friday, three members on the Saturday and undercover F.E.A officers on the Sunday, despite Timon_b's ban from FurJAM.

F.E.A made its third large appearance at Supanova Pop Culture Expo on the 19th of June, 2010 with 3 members, Timon_b Jacora and Raifox who once again answered many questions from the public, and varies news interviews from Unreal Tv, news.com.au reporters, fbi radio, supanova media and others.

On the 30th of September 2011 Timon was pulled over by Police in his FEA Patrol Vehicle. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and examined it for Faults/Defects. The outcome of the search was one defect notice, 7 days to repair the defects. Problem has now been rectified 5th Sept 2011, defects cleared.

5Th December 2012 Timon attended Midfur and was refused entry into the convention, after a short argument with unlicenced security Nova and the Midfur Chairman Pete Smith Timon was forcefully removed from the convention. Timon then proceeded to patrol the surroundings of the building Midfur was held in.

Staff
Timon_b Commissioner
Jacora Inspector - Public Relations Officer
Raifox Constable - Entertainment Officer

FEA Also has 3 Probationary Officers in training, 1 Intel Officer, and varies other new recruits and other furs in training who do not want to be mentioned at this point in time.
Uniform and equipment
Currently the F.E.A uniform consists of the following items:

*Sky blue uniform shirt with blue Epaulettes and F.E.A patches
*Sky blue name-tag
*Black tactical pants
*Navy blue v-neck jumper
*Nylon utility belt
*Animal mace (direct stop spray, which is legal in NSW)
*Motorola Mtx838 UHF, Motorola XTS3000 apco-25 compliant, or Puxing PX-888 UHF radios
*Tactical flashlight (torch) with steel window breaker
*Black tactical cap
*Collar insignia, paw pins, ranks, etc

The F.E.A also has specialized equipment such as surveillance and reconnaissance gear, limited crowd control equipment, and an assortment of EMT supplies.

F.E.A is currently redesigning their current uniform as it can be easily mistaken for that of the NSW police forces.
