Yukon Trails MUCK was a role-playing MUCK set during the Klondike gold rush - the late 1890s and very early 1900s - in northwestern Canada. It included themes and characters from Jack London's novels White Fang and The Call of the Wild.[1] Roleplayed characters could be "humans, dogs, or any wild creatures found in the setting".[2]

About[edit]
The founders of Yukon Trails MUCK intended "a realistic, high quality MUCK with a basis in Jack London's works".[8]
Shadow decided to leave after real life stress and finding not many wished to be highly realistic wolves. When she threatened to remove all her work from the muck, her wizbit was removed. Kardinn and Shadow has decided it would be bad for the role play of the muck if content added to the muck was removed, so a rule was set during the mucks founding content once added to the muck can not be removed.
Yukon Trails came about partly from the desire of Kardinn to be a sled dog. Having role played on another muck named Artic Thunder for a time till having out grown it. Kardinn having both the desire and the dream to build a dog muck. A place for realistic role play different from the cartoon like Balto mucks. Kardinn asked Shadow a dear friend who knew alot about wolves to come help build a muck. Later Ruth was asked to join the team to help flesh out the town role play. The stress of running a muck proved greater then Kardinn had imagioned, the never ending job of having to manage made it less and less possible for Kardinn to get into the very beloved canine role play the muck was created for. Having to remind friends of the muck rules, to enforce those rules became too heart breaking for Kardinn. Kardinn asked Blueheel to take over the running of the muck, a long term project that brought both good times and bad.
