The Wind in the Willows is a book by Kenneth Grahame, originally published in 1908. It has been made into multiple film versions, both live-action and animated.

It contains anthropomorphic animals that can talk, and have clothes, houses, and other human items. The animals include Mole, Ratty (a water vole), Mr. Toad, Mr. Badger and Otter. It is considered by some to be the defining example of a "Rabbits in Waistcoats" story.
