What The Fur 2012
What The Fur 2012, the third run for What The Fur, was held over June 1-3, at the Hotel Espresso in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The theme was "Creatures of the Night", and the Guest of Honour was Karine "Kanthara" Charlebois.[1]
Attendance was counted at 282 people. .[2]
The Charity was again the St.Lawrence Valley Natural History Ecomuseum. Over the span of the weekend, CA$4150.93 (~US$3988) was raised for the charity. This sparked the removal of Feli's hair, which will be donated to a second charity, the Canadian Cancer Society.[needs update]

Due to ongoing daily protests in the city of Montreal, and the recent introduction of laws regarding protesting and of the wearing of masks during protest marches, it was decided that the outdoor Fursuit Parade would not be taking place in 2012.[3][dead link]
