VancouFur 2020

VancouFur 2020 was the ninth instance of the VancouFur convention. It was held from March 5-8, 2020, at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.[1] It was one of the very few conventions that successfully ran in 2020 prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.[2]
Vancoufur 2020 saw 1211 attendees. The 2020 Charity was the BCSPCA Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre (Wild ARC) for which $8,230.35 CAD was raised.
The guest of honor was artist, fursuiter, and fursuit maker Matrices, the Community spotlight was fursuiter Nitroshep.
231 suits participated in the parade and photo.
The convention's theme was Neon City.[2]
