Vanaras are a race of bipedal monkeylike humanoids in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Vanaras are playable characters, and were introduced in the D&D supplement book "Oriental Adventures".

Vanaras are typically four and a half to five and a half feet tall, slightly shorter than humans, and usually weigh 90 to 140 pounds. They are inquisitive, loyal, and brave.[1]
