Header and title style[edit]

Hi Woody! Will respond to your question on my user page; before that, I noticed you were trying to adjust Template:Convention timeline footer. First off, template changes aren't propagated instantly, which is why you may have thought it wasn't working - there may be a large number of pages to update, so it's done in the background as people access the site. You may be able to force templates to be recalculated on a particular page by adding ?action=purge to the URL in your browser. Secondly, WikiFur's house style (like Wikipedia) is generally to use non-capitalized titles in headers and category names, except for proper nouns. So, for example, "Midwest FurFest" is capitalized after the first word, but "Guests of honor" or "Convention staff" is not (even though some conventions, including Midwest FurFest, may capitalize terms in their own materials according to their own house style). This isn't always applied entirely consistently - I just had to fix guest of honor itself - but we try! --GreenReaper(talk) 13:13, 14 January 2016 (EST)

When adding a category to an article (for example, [[Category:Midwest FurFest guests of honor]]), please remember to also add some text to the article to justify its inclusion. ("xxx was a guest of honor at...", etcetera.) --Higgs Raccoon (talk) 17:52, 14 January 2016 (EST)

Midwest FurFest fursuit parades[edit]

Hi Woody,
Since you're the resident expert on MFF, would you happen to know how many people were in the fursuit parades in 2001-2004? Fred Patten is writing a history of furry conventions, and those are the numbers still missing from his research. It's long before you became chairman, but I thought I'd ask anyway.--Higgs Raccoon (talk) 12:12, 15 January 2016 (EST)

Thanks for the heads-up. I put a group of people to work on this and we were able to provide him with all the information he requested. Once we get this up on the MFF site, I'll update Wikifur accordingly.--Woody (talk) 18:01, 4 March 2016 (EST)
