Terminology[edit]

There is no such thing as Medically Retired on the US Air Force RE code forms. The USAF discharged code for "Medical Retired" was superseded by "Medical Discharge" years ago. What was your Armed Forces MOS? - Spirou (talk) 01:11, 16 August 2014 (EDT)

MOS[edit]

USAF 2E2X1. I was originally discharged as honorable under medical, but then later received a 100% rating from the VA. I keep getting input from lots of other vets aying that that means that I'm medically retired. My DoD ID card also lists me as Permanently Retired Military as well.
