Cleanup?[edit]

Hey Sine! You added a cleanup template on my article page, but didnt list a reason. Could you please explain? Thanks!--Tabbicus

It basically just needs some tweaking. The subheadings should continue in lower case (except for proper names), there's a little more bolding than you need. (The second instance of Tabbicus doesn't need to be in bold.) Soem of the wording needs smoothing, as describing the personality of characters is okay, but we don't need description of a person's personality in an article, nor assessments of their skill. So, "He has an impressive knowledge of the parks and is always happy to discuss the topic." should probably be cut or moved to your use page.
Let me know if you'd like a hand with any of the above.
Sorry for not listing a reason with my edit; I'm trying to get into the habit of putting a reason every time. -- Sine 20:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Feral Guest of Honor[edit]

Um, thanks for the promotion, but I have never been a GoH at Feral. :-) I've only served as a volunteer and staff. --Douglas Muth 15:59, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

According to the 2nd Feral con page (can't remember the year), "the workshop-leaders were considered to be guests of honor." :P Just going off Wikifur info. --Tabbicus

Weird. If you find it again, please let me know. AFAIK, 1999 was their second year, and I wasn't a workshop instructor that year, as it was my first time attending. --Douglas Muth 13:01, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Taken from the Feral! 2000 WikiFur page: "The rather sizable workshop instructor line-up included K-9, Loopy, Benjamin, BushyCat, Silverfang, Giza, Deuce, Terry Wessner, MelSkunk, Pann, Tir'ran, Marlos, and Ostrich. As in previous years, these esteemed individuals also pretty much served as guests of honor." --Tabbicus
Um, okay... I guess I would have to disagree with that article's phrasing then. :-P About the only thing I got as a staff member was a mention on the Feral website and conbook, and a pretty neat t-shirt. (and that's all I expected) To the best of my knowledge, at no time were any of us promoted as guests of honor. --Douglas Muth 22:42, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:Copy of Halloween200600068A.jpg[edit]

Hello Tabbicus

This is in regards to Image:Copy of Halloween200600068A.jpg and Image:DSC00032.JPG. It has not been tagged with a copyright status. This can be a complicated area, so I can try to help if you need any. The Wikipedia Image use policy may give some background, but it isn't policy here.

To deal with this image, there are a few choices:

  • If you are the copyright holder, release it under a free license, for example:
  • If you are asserting that this image is usable under fair use, add an appropriate fair use tag. A very basic summary is that fair use is used for commentary, criticism and review on the image when no free image could be used instead. Some fair use tags are:
    • Logos: {{logo}}
    • Covers: {{Cover}}
    • Comic panels: {{Comic-panel}}
  • If the image is already under a free license, provide information on the license, and tag the image if you can.
  • If you would like the image to be deleted, ask any administrator

To see a list of current copyright tags available on WikiFur, see Category:Image copyright tags If the copyright status is not resolved, the image may be deleted.

Unless you have a question for me specifically, I'd prefer responses on the page for the image. --Rat 00:32, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes... these pics were taken by a friend of mine who said I could use them. How would I tag the images? --Tabbicus
If you know that the person has released them under a free license, like Public domain, Creative Commons, or GFDL, use one of the tags above. If the person has released them under specific conditions, use Template:Limited_license. --Rat 17:44, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:Farwithwine.jpg[edit]

Could you look into Image:Farwithwine.jpg too please? Same reason as the previous images. --Rat 20:08, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:Keesh.jpg, Image:Outtosea.jpg[edit]

The images Image:Keesh.jpg and Image:Outtosea.jpg needs a copyright tag as well, same as the previous ones. --Rat 03:00, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:S320x240.jpg, Image:Roma.jpg, Image:Rmfc 003.jpg[edit]

These also need copyright status resolved: Image:S320x240.jpg, Image:Roma.jpg, Image:Rmfc 003.jpg --Rat 22:04, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:11452041.jpg[edit]

The file Image:11452041.jpg needs a copyright tag, same as the rest. --Rat 20:13, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Image licensing[edit]

Hi, Tabbicus. Please add licensing information (preferably as an appropriate template) to images you've uploaded. For example, File:StreakPose.jpg needs more specific licensing information, and File:Tabbihead3.jpg isn't a photograph of a person so permission-Wikifurries isn't a license that can be used there. -- Sine 00:28, 21 August 2012 (EDT)
