Creating articles based in Wikipedia[edit]

Heading to Wikipedia, ripping the article out, and slamming the result here is not quite the kosher what to edit in a new article; it leaves it half finished, editors and curators then have to work double to bring it to Wikifur standards, and it wastes a lot of time people would like to use editing other articles.

I would suggest to use the Sandbox or your user page (use preview to check the article), then transfer/create the finalized article over. Images: please use meaningless names instead of numerals (123456) or jumbled characters. That is another issue that editors and curators will have to spend time fixing. Please help us so we can help you improve the wiki. Hope this info helps. - Spirou (talk) 04:20, 18 September 2015 (EDT)

It's recommended to use the Furry Book of Style to help guide on creating, tuning and priming your articles for posting. - Spirou (talk) 04:26, 18 September 2015 (EDT)
(...) Removing the article you were working on from your user page is not going to help to get it done, unless you are editing it offline. In this case, you will not be able to use the preview button to check your formatting progress, just FYI. - Spirou (talk) 04:38, 18 September 2015 (EDT)
