Hi Nekosune, Welcome to WikiFur! Thank you for registering an account - we look forward to working with you. Let us know if you need any help not already provided. If you would like help creating an article or just editing it, don't hesitate to consult the Furry Book of Style or just contact a curator. Have a nice day!

When making multiple edits to an article, please use the "Show preview" button to view intermediate changes, and try to limit use of the "Save page" button to when you are finished making all of your changes. Frequent use of "Save page" during editing tends to clutter the article's edit history and the site's change log. --Higgs Raccoon 10:56, 1 October 2012 (EDT)

If a subject has undergone a name-change, the old article should be moved to the new name, rather than have a new article created. (By moving the old article, the edit history is retained.) For this reason, the article at Fionacat has been moved over to Feefers.--Higgs Raccoon 11:02, 1 October 2012 (EDT)

There was more then just that I was in the middle of also trying to clean up a bit, add new developments. Also it is paticularly bad to bring back an article that uses the wrong gender, Nekosune 11:10, 1 October 2012 (EDT)

Please defer from whitewashing any article under any circumstances, specially under his/her/their "best interests" reasons, thank you. - Spirou (talk) 20:57, 20 May 2016 (EDT)

So you are saying, you will just deliberatly keep a trans woman's old name on any article, despite the fact it is not even legally their name anymore? And anyone trying to say otherwise is 'whitewashing'? Nekosune (talk) 21:12, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
A) This is a Wiki, B) "Deadnaming" (that is a new one) just becomes simply Whitewashing on wikis, and C) There are users that have no qualm keeping their birth name (see Dana Simpson).
Before it gets converted into another massive conspiracy issue of whatever, here is a simple way out: Ask the user to have their name deleted out for privacy reasons. There are 0 reasons to prevent omission then (exception: criminal notabiity, but this doesn't seem to be the case here so she is good). - Spirou (talk) 21:45, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
I will do that, had already asked her to poke her head in here, though probably will be in the morning, stupid UK time zone, sorry if I sounded accusative, but I know in this instance, she is extremely wary of any place that uses her old name, while accepting of her new name connnected to her online name, and To be blunt, while some trans women dont mind their old name being used, some are hurt by it, I knew she was in the latter rather then the former, and was trying to do so without her having to. Tell you what; you are not doing this in a rude manner, I will take it as good faith edit and go ahead and remove the data, less people to bother after all. Give me 10 minutes to make the change and add the warning edit note. - Spirou (talk) 21:56, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
Thankyou , I hope you have a nice day! Nekosune (talk) 21:58, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
