Hi Mitch. I'll meet you in the middle on the Eric W. Schwartz article :-) One suggestion, though - how about if we use something more like "furry erotica artist" instead of "spooge artist"? Spooge is a jargon term that not everyone will be familiar with, and it also carries a negative connotation that may not be appropriate in the neutral POV that we're aiming for. What do you think? --Duncan da Husky 12:28, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hm, how about "erotic toon artist", since TDK's pix are mainly naughty toons?
-Mitch 12:37, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Works for me! Thanks. --Duncan da Husky 12:43, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

HEY AND HOWDY!I'M STILL AROUND,keep 'em flyin'!!like the old plague victim in Monty python's "Holy Grail" said;"I'm not dead yet!"(JER)

Nikii on FurryMUCK[edit]

Is Nikii of FurryMUCK a member of CYD? --Chibiabos 05:51, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Is he claiming that he is? There isn't anyone by that name in the memberlist, though they could of course be using an alias. Mitch 14:08, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
Not exactly, but behaving almost exactly like Raiya when she claimed she was and its highly likely Nikii and Raiya are operating out of the same group targetting myself and other furs to stalk and harrass. The fursona on FM is actually female, but of course no way to know the real one. She claimed to be from a group she didn't name that is on furtopia. --Chibiabos 01:57, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Maybe Raiya and Nikii are one and the same person? I have no idea. Also, what group is targetting furs? Do you know of any other members? Mitch 19:22, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow, you've been playing me like a fiddle. Congrats, you aren't the first and unfortunately aren't the last. I just found a few threads that are the source of the growing stalking and harrassing attacks against me on FurryMUCK where I go by Colorado (not that you don't know since I seem to be such a topic of interest, its been long identified on your forums) ...
http://www.crushyiffdestroy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1967
http://www.crushyiffdestroy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1831
http://www.crushyiffdestroy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2437
I notice only Raiga was banned, which seems to be fairly random since the other inciters and mobbers don't have their accounts listed as banned. Further, these very threads to talk, flame and harrass me remain intact. I'm sure I'd find more in searches for my Livejournal alias, I'll probably find most if not all of the 50 forum trashers I've had to ban from my personal LJ as users on your forums.
Yeah, I let myself try to believe that isn't really what CYD is, but ... well ... congratulations, you had me foolishly hope. --Chibiabos 07:17, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

This is not the proper forum for this kinds of exchanges. If you have a personal problem/issue with a user, please limit it to personal emails, or any other venue than an article/talk/user page, unless it involves Wikifur in some manner. Spirou 07:43, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

The threads, long established on cyd forums and still publicly accessible on their forums, establish Mitch's claims that CYD does not rally or organize mobs is false. That's clearly both the intent and effect of those and several other threads I found in their forums just searching for a couple of my nicks, as well as the published actual webpages like the one I pointed out long ago on my last ex, Ebonlupus. I don't want to hear any more excuses about my statements of fact as being baseless when they've had the evidence on their own forums long enough, still up and still rallying more people to follow me around wherever I go (INCLUDING Wikifur) to stalk and harrass. --Chibiabos 08:10, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
I have a suggestion. If you wish to continue this discussion, why not make a post to the CYD Livejournal community, and I will respond to it in a sane fashion, since I would like to respond to all your points but I do not wish to clutter up Wikifur. I am the sole moderator of that LJ community and I will undertake to ruthlessly delete all useless and/or trolling comments which may appear. Mitch 14:24, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
From what I've read on your own forums, I'm victim often, frequently and intensely enough as it is on your forums by a large number of your users, not just RailFoxen. Though you have kept private the reasons for banning RailFoxen, his rants against you on the CYD forums are a likely suspect, and given the number of users joining in the several threads discussing me and what should be done "to me" and how few of them have been banned (of course I can't "know" for certain the reasons, but given the facts RailFoxen alone was banned is logical, if circumstantial, evidence of motive), it seems clear to me my initial impression based upon Raiya and several of his friends on FurryMUCK -- whom all act in unison and newer ones still state they got their information from an "interesting" discussion on me -- as being representative of CYD are correct.
There appears to be no tolerance for debate or discussion against allegations made on the CYD forums, and threats to harm and rallying lynch mobs still seem to be supported and encouraged in the environment (including "Nikii", one of the latest to join the CYD-lynch-club-against-me mob on FurryMUCK). Based on that, and the fact you yourself just whitewashewashed your users and forums by deleting two supporting links pointing to threads on your own forums in addition to the points themselves, why in the name of Texas should I expose myself to further and more direct attacks on your LJ? --Chibiabos 16:55, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
If you don't want to move the discussion elsewhere for whatever reason, then that is your choice. For myself, I will follow Spirou's suggestion and make no further replies on this page. Mitch 17:07, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
In my view, talk on WikiFur should generally be restricted to discussing the content of articles (on the appropriate talk pages) or the conduct of users on WikiFur. This applies to the people who talk about WikiFur articles on CYD as well - they're doing it in the wrong place, so it's unlikely to have any constructive effect on the articles as the vast majority of editors just won't see it. So, if there is a discussion about specific edits to WikiFur articles, take it to that article's talk page, please. --GreenReaper(talk) 22:06, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Image:Monoliths.jpg[edit]

Hello Mitch,

This is in regards to Image:Monoliths.jpg. It has not been tagged with a copyright status. This can be a complicated area, so I can try to help if you need any. The Wikipedia Image use policy may give some background, but it isn't policy here.

To deal with this image, there are a few choices:

  • If you are the copyright holder, release it under a free license, for example:
  • If you are asserting that this image is usable under fair use, add an appropriate fair use tag. A very basic summary is that fair use is used for commentary, criticism and review on the image when no free image could be used instead. Some fair use tags are:
    • Logos: {{logo}}
    • Covers: {{Cover}}
    • Comic panels: {{Comic-panel}}
  • If the image is already under a free license, provide information on the license, and tag the image if you can.
  • If you would like the image to be deleted, ask any administrator

To see a list of current copyright tags available on WikiFur, see Category:Image copyright tags If the copyright status is not resolved, the image may be deleted.

Unless you have a question for me specifically, I'd prefer responses on the page for the image. --Rat 02:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

High Weirdness Project Link in CYD Article[edit]

Sorry, I don't see a compelling reason why the link should be removed. It is relevant to the topic and therefore should remain in the article, even if you don't like it. ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 15:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't say anything of import and it's by someone with an axe to grind. Mitch 20:42, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Archiving talk pages[edit]

How do I archive an over-full Talk page so that it has a "Talk archives" box like this page? Mitch 20:53, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Have a look at User talk:GreenReaper/Header. You can copy the top to make your own - I use {{User talk:GreenReaper/Header}} to include it. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:59, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, GR. I appear to have managed it..... Mitch 21:07, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
