Welcome and Preview
Welcome to WikiFur! Thank you for telling us about yourself. We here at WikiFur look forward to working with you. Let us know if you need any help not already provided. If you would like help continuing to create the article you were working on, or any other article, don't hesitate to consult the Furry Book of Style or just contact a colleague.
Also, when making multiple edits to an article, please use the Show preview button to view intermediate changes, and try to limit use of the Save page button to when you are finished making all of your changes. Frequent use of "Save page" during editing tends to clutter the article's edit history and the site's change log - Spirou 01:30, 15 April 2013 (EDT)
"Messing" with people's articles.
Greetings. No, editors are not in the job of "messing" with people's articles. Each time a new entry is made, if the initial creator does not immediately improve upon it, other editors have to move in and shape it in accordance with the minimum tenants of the Furry Book of Style.
Sometimes we have little to work with, so anything and everything that can be found about the person/subject will be added while formatting the page. On vanity pages, the first thing to do is establish the user's basic article template, and built upon it (aliases, dates, personal info, sites, fursonas, references, etc,...). After that, the article is enhanced further with more data and information.
If the initial edit is incorrect, it will be up to the article's user or other editors to fix the errors and continue editing,... not "messing". Hope this explanation helps. And if you have inquiries in the future why this was done, please add them to the article's talk page, not the article itself (that will just result on a revert) - Spirou 07:02, 15 April 2013 (EDT)
